Doodle poll: https://doodle.com/poll/dstqck6n7e3v79xg
I've only included Sat/Sun as most people will be working I imagine. I can add weekdays if people demand it. I've also left a comment detailing some of the interesting events planned at the exhibition.
The e-mail I got said that their lease from Cardiff city council expires 9th September, but I don't know if that means the exhibition is closing on the 9th or whether it will close before then so they can dismantle it before the lease expires.
Also you buy tickets for a given timeslot. Once we've decided on a day we can do a separate poll for meetup time (though I'd suggest we go in the morning so we can do the Cardiff filming locations walking tour or something).
Anyway. Fire away!

Wonder if Ed Russell will be staying as "Brand Manager." I'll be surprised. The "brand" is in tatters.

Tom Spilsbury will be replaced by Marcus Hearn, a long-standing writer for DWM, who also previously co-edited the title in the 1990s, and has recently been the editor of the DWM Special Editions and the spin-off title The Essential Doctor Who.

This is shit because if it closed later we could have stayed at my house in Swansea, I'm going back on the 12th. Gr8 timing. But yeah, meeting up in the morning is all well and good as long as we all live close enough to get a train at a non disgusting time.
My girlfriend lives a 15 minute drive away from the experience. She took me in May time and I thought it was a bit shit? A cheap and hastily put together live experience followed by a big room full of shit in no real order. It's a lot of Moffat-era stuff but it felt like JNT-era. It just felt like a cheap way to make money off fans. The shop is okay at the end. When I went there was 0 Master content (except maybe a Missy dress but I don't think even that).
But yeah see it before it closes
I'd really love to come but unfortunately I live in France...

I've been before and yeah it is a bit naff - walking through the actual interactive adventure is the best bit and even that is a bit shit. It's worth going to see the TARDIS sets though, I think. I did the TARDIS tour bit they do (only if they're not shooting anything) and that was gr8, worth the price of admission alone, I think.
i live a cool as hell 3 and a half hours away by train
I like the Experience. I went there a couple of years ago, worth it in my opinion. Would love to join you guys, but can't afford going again as I live in Norway :/
I'm free in Oktober and wanted to travel to the Experience. So sad it closes in september :(

Is it meant to have such crazy looking eyes?
As far as I can tell, there are 3 major things wrong with this bobblehead.
1. the eyes
2. the companion it is of
3. it's not even clara lmao
Apparently the christmas special title is The Doctors

well, here we go again
Sunday? Wow.
Please don't be Female...
Please don't be Female...
No offensive, but a Female Doctor would be a Bad idea
here we go again
Who are the current top names going round?
And last time wasn't Peter suddenly taken off all betting websites?
Please don't be Female...
Please don't be Female...
No offensive, but a Female Doctor would be a Bad idea
In my opinion if the Master can work as a woman (which it did considering I think Missy might be the best Master yet) so can the Doctor.
I'd be fine with whatever, really - there's never been a Doctor who was terribly cast so I'm just going to try and have faith whoever it is will work for Chib's vision of the show.
tbh its not the idea of a female doctor that worries me, its the prospect of who they might cast as a male companion, and i just worry they'd manage to totally fuck the dynamic up with something like that
Having a Female Doctor for your very first series is just too Risky, and I'm sure Chris wouldn't want to risk it
Not to mention if It doesn't work, Chris would take the Responsibility for it and there will be people asking for Moffat to come back (Ok, maybe not)
I'm Pretty sure Chris will just play it safe and cast another Male Doctor

At this point I would be really shocked if it wasn't Kris Marshall, Tom Rosenthal or Andrew Buchan.
And also, please don't be Kris marshall
Or any other of the names that have sprung up in the last few Months
Let it be someone COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from them

this is just wrong though. missy was very 'woah wacky and zany xd' for the most part, Simm is still the best Nu-Who Master (especially after the s10 finale)
Nobody is ever going to unseat Delgado as the best.

committed relationship from the get-go). Avoids relationships with the Doctor as well as keeping both a male and female companion hangin' about. One of the big arguments I always see against a female Doctor is that the Doctor has always been quite a paternal figure so why not just change it to a more maternal figure. I think it could work amazingly.
