I like what Brian considers to be fun and playful :v: Extra annoying to hear how Simm was kept a secret on set.
Holy shit, that was fantastic, best episode of the season, really did a bang up job of making the original Cybermen just... [B]Horrifying.[/B] like the volume switch "Pain. Pain. Pain. Pain."
"Kill me. Kill me. Kill me. Kill me." just... Christ and the voice works even after all these years, it's still just as creepy as I remember it.
I really hope the finale can stand up to this.

Bill wasn't jealous, she was just fucking [I]terrified[/I] of Missy, but trusted The Doctor enough to at least TRY what he was proposing... Poor girl.
Also I was COMPLETELY fooled by The Masters disguise throughout, until he met Missy, John Simm has some acting chops man, the makeup work, just general attitude, was great too.
I'm surprised the episode managed to hide him RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME for all that time, like, great job Doctor Who, really great job.

Yeah, that would have been fucking awesome because I really was just wondering when he would show up because of the trailer, trying to anticipate it.
That reveal would have been 100% better without the BBC showing it off, it still got me though, so it was still fantastic either way, but yeah waaay better if they didn't.

I watched scenes of Razor and Bill being filmed in public on YouTube many times and didn't know it was Simm. Ah, what could have been.

All of the hospital scenes were gorgeously creepy.
It's been a while since we've had the Cybermen done as surgical horror instead of just being stompy metal men.
I was hoping the regeneration visuals would be different. The golden explosion worked back when they could actually morph the actors faces. But that apparently can't be achieved these days, which leads to all this dramatic waving about only for the actual change to be a cheap flash cut... which in the case of Matt->Peter happened off-screen... River's was just as bad.
I don't get it. With all the special effects the show is capable of, why cheap out on the moments destined to be repeated for years and years to come? Hopefully rectified this year. I want to see Capaldi get his moment, damn it.
