My previously anti-female Doctor family members have come away from Trust Me by praising Whittaker and saying she'll be good. Will have to check it out.

Watching her in interviews is just so uplifting, when she talks about being the doctor there's not even a hint of anything but the most genuine and bubbly wholesome excitement and it's so positive and lovely

I'd kind of forgotten Bradley Walsh was an actor. Maybe he'll play a crappy day time TV game show host When are we next going to have a companion from the past? I remember being quite disappointed when Victorian Clara died, I thought we'd get a companion that would be as awed by modern technology as they were by alien worlds.

I like to think that Marshall was a Chibnall plant. Maybe this is his plan in an era of leaks. Feed something to the press to get everyone talking while he actually gets to work on the actual casting. I always found it odd that KM never said anything (and still hasn't). Or Bradley Walsh will actually be facing off against the Dark Destroyer next year. Also possible he's a secondary / recurring character.

As anyone who follows me on Twitter knows (Freeze), I am THE BIGGEST FAN of the Chase. I watch it religiously. I think Bradley Walsh playing the companion would break my brain, in fact I'm convinced that I have actually died and gone to heaven because of this rumour.

I'm on board with Walsh being in DW if true ofc, he is a good actor and a great tv personality (and in general really).
