Is he the guy taking over as head writer? Either way I'm staying well away from that drama.
no, he will probably never write another episode of doctor who again
http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Gareth_Roberts He wrote episodes such as 'Closing time' and 'The Caretaker' For SJA he wrote episodes such as 'Whatever happened to Sarah Jane' and 'The Man who never was' He also wrote the NSA Book 'Only Human' and the novelisation of Shada
So he's nothing special.
What kind of personality do you think the Thirteenth Doctor will have? I'm kind of imagining her as a continuation of Peter's growing warmth, honestly. Whittaker is obviously a younger actress but I can imagine her having the same kind of dry but caring personality that Peter's had for the past series.
Personally I hope she will be very different from everything we've had so far, if still possible after 13 actors
Communist Doctor, calling it now. She'll go round calling everyone "Space Comrade" and paint the TARDIS red.
In other News, Class has been confirmed to have been axed http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/class/news/a837477/bbc-three-class-doctor-who-spin-off-cancelled/
Time to celebrate
it's so crazy that they ended the series on so many cliffhangers without any reasoning at all to suggest that there would be a second
wasnt that obvious after they aired the first episode
I liked it
Capaldi auditioned for Sisko :v:
it's so crazy that they ended the series on so many cliffhangers without any reasoning at all to suggest that there would be a second
Maybe they put in so many cliffhangers to try and force the BBC's hand, so that they HAD to let them do I second series. I've no idea how TV works though so I may be talking out of my arse.

Apparently there was supposed to be a scene in Last Christmas where Santa was demonstrating the danger of the Dream Crabs by having them analysed by Rudolph’s nose and the Doctor says, “Can’t you see how stupid this is?” .. Then K-9 enters the room and says, “I could analyse that Master.” Then the Doctor replies, “K-9, not now! Go away. Go away. Leave me alone.” and K-9 goes back in to the TARDIS. It was cut for time. This is a tragedy. We needed more K9 in the Capaldi era. Imagine he appeared in Twice Upon A Time. That'd be amazing.
Isn't K-9 trapped inside Mr Smith or something (the computer from SJA) ?
it could be a new model or he could just be on loan for a bit or something, I dunno - they'd figure it out

Saw that this morning. Not canon though is it ?
Saw that this morning. Not canon though is it ?

Now, we can hear all your grumbles about canon. Does it actually count as Doctor Who law if published only by illustration in a book 9 years later? Well, according to Davies, it does! As a message to those skeptics, the former showrunner said “Absolutely. “She’s my character, that’s my episode, I say that’s true.”

Isn't K-9 trapped inside Mr Smith or something (the computer from SJA) ?
Na, he was stabilizing a blackhole or something, I can't remember the specifics. But he came back afterwards for a brief while, then he left back for the Blackhole, then came back for the rest of SJA after he had finished with it.
Oh my The First Doctor & The First Master.
I would have prefer to have it as a live-action. Those audio adventures are quite hard for non-native speakers
Twice Upon a Time synopsis
Two Doctors stranded in a forbidding snowscape, refusing to face regeneration. And a British army captain seemingly destined to die in the First World War, but taken from the trenches to play his part in the Doctor’s story. This is the magical last chapter in the Twelfth Doctor’s epic adventure. He must face his past to decide his future. And the Doctor will realise the resilience of humanity, discovering hope in his darkest frozen moment. It’s the end of an era. But the Doctor’s journey is only just beginning.
I genuinely love christmas but even saying that the best thing about it is Doctor Who.
