Man, the moments after the regeneration are given a certain reverence which we just haven’t seen in the modern show (especially after TEETH, LEGS & KIDNEYS). Just a little bit of quiet, Jodie standing in the smoke with the light beaming through (even coming through some of the broken roundels), combined with The Doctor’s Theme.... utterly nailed. Beautiful.
Even the TARDIS troubles to follow just makes “we’re probably crashing lol” pale in comparison. I do hope Talalay comes back.
ETA: In recent days, our two TUAT soldiers, Gatiss and Whithouse, have “confirmed” they won’t be involved in Series 11 - with Whithouse implying he’s done for good.

I spent ages as a kid looking for the song the Master used in The Sound of Drums when the paradox machine went off, I couldn't find it.
I was rewatching the episode and I knew I could find it now as the internet has grown, but I kinda decided to leave it, as I had a bit of doubt, thought it could have been an original Doctor Who song.
Next thing I know I accidentally stumbled upon it and fucking christ I love it.

Come to think of it, the post-regeneration scene is possibly my favorite of the lot. Most of them didn't involve anything other than a bloke laying on the ground with his eyes shut, so it doesn't say much, but still...
They even threw in the TARDIS sound effect to echo the first regeneration.
