Big Finish is canon unless something directly contradicts something that is broadcast on television.
I think Moffat may have said something about Spare Parts still being canon despite what happens in WEAT/TDF, I might have dreamt that though.

Basically pretty much everything in Doctor Who is canon.
Hell, technically speaking the fucking Doctor Who/Star Trek crossover is canon. :v: (though it's non-canon in the Star Trek continuity)

while I want new stuff, it would be a huge shame if we were to *never* hear some of the old melodies again frankly so I'm glad he's seemingly not above doing that

About time! The previous logo was getting old after 6(?) seasons of barely varied versions. And the Season 7A gimmick with different versions each episode was dumb.

This looks worthy of a Netflix show
If the intro sequence is like that clip, it's like they've taken apart all of the pieces that usually make up a DW intro, and then put them back together in a familiar but totally new way, and I hope that's the approach for the whole series
Filming in Gosport. Having originally been hidden away, seemingly so many people turned up that it was arranged for Whittaker and Bradley to meet people and a local BBC news team to do a little piece on it

Gotta agree with Coyoteze, it feels good being excited about Doctor Who again. I think the last time was 2013-2014.
I was, and still are, sceptical to a female Doctor, but having everything else also change for the better (so far) makes me feel safer with the direction they are taking the show. At least the way everything looks now.
