Someone on the Who subreddit posted this deleted scene from S8 and I think it serves as a pretty good summary of Capaldi's run:

That would have been a much cooler intro to the episode, rather than the "TARDIS light up the arse" meditation we got.
Nice little video - including Jodie calling herself The Doctor https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/our-region/gosport/fans-snap-selfies-with-doctor-who-s-jodie-whittaker-in-gosport-1-8391700

I think it's original, but not as impressive as previous title sequences.

A bit generic imo, but I do like how the logo forms, reminds me of older intros.
it's like listening to a dubstep song but the drop never happens
A bit generic imo, but I do like how the logo forms, reminds me of older intros.
Generic to what?
Generic to what?
Sorry if not correct wording, English is not my first language, maybe closer to what I meant is that it doesn't have the Doctor Who vibe I would want, and feels/looks like it could be any other show

Since when was DWM Doctor Who Adventures? "Make your own Time Lord collar", jesus christ...
Since when was DWM Doctor Who Adventures? "Make your own Time Lord collar", jesus christ...
It’s a new cosplay-focused feature written by the chick from the Fan Show.

They wanted to do this but they figured it would cost too much to change it.
It’s a new cosplay-focused feature written by the chick from the Fan Show.
i really hope chinballs isnt going to make DWM a kiddy friendly magazine
That's up to Marcus Hearn. I imagine there's going to be a lot more fluff if the current production team wants to hold things back though.
i really hope chinballs isnt going to make DWM a kiddy friendly magazine
It may not be Chibnall, but from what I read from this editorial, DWM might be going through a hard time from the BBC. Remember that incident a few months ago where a secret message cussing out BBC Worldwide and Panini was discovered? That was written by a veteran member of the show’s revival crew and well-established DWM contributor. Someone like that willing to throw their career away like that means he had particularly strong grievances with the way the executives must be overseeing the DWM editors. And even if it was an isolated case, BBC/Panini are tightening their oversight of the editing process, which could mean stricter mandating of the content. This could be why they’re trying to cater to the kind of fans who would watch the Fan Show unironically, but it also sends bad feelings on whether they’ll be forced to push PR over honest opinions, be it interviewees getting controversial with their answers (political matters of course) or the review column being honest about their judgement of episodes/audios/books as opposed to blind BBC-approves praise.
Alan Cumming has said on a podcast that he's in Series 11 and playing [sp]James I[/sp]
The "ink" title sequence on Youtube has been updated with the new logo. I really hope the BBC will take inspiration in this, like they did for the last one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gx_n2WTvLX4
I feel like Eleven getting used to these new forums. “Gold! Still got gold. My avatar size... blimey!” https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/211506/57afa560-783c-4b5a-87b3-6b0d62f128bb/1CF0F117-40D7-4D5B-83E7-F02CFB423A23.jpeg
