I expected Cartman's dad... well half of it [sp]The denver bronco part[/sp]
Holy shit, I stand corrected. The bleeping of Muhammad's name wasn't done by South Park, it actually was the network. Now that I know that, i'm curious as to what else the censored (Although the censored speeches at the end HAD to have been part of the joke.) God damn extremists, South Park gets a way with massive bouncing testicles but not Muhammad. Although I love how South Park makes fun of this, when Buddha did coke I nearly shat my pants. That would've been clever.
"Swallow, come!"
Made me laugh out loud.
So was the speech at the end of the show bleeped out by the network or by them ?
Made me laugh out loud.
It's normal? I think it should say: Swallow cum.
Comedy central is such a cheap channel, now terrorists know their terrorism works.
FUUUUUU-
To be fair, they should have called that Episode Bleep, because that's all I heard throughout. Thought I had fucking Tinnitus.
I'm watching it online [sp]http://www.bluexeal.com/2010/04/watch-south-park-season-14-episode-6.html[/sp]
Thanks so much man. Have a heart.
oh god the censoring in the end.
oh god the censoring in the end.
Stan saying "... Yeah." at the end made up for it though.
I also loved it when [Sp]Santa Claus was in that bear costume instead of Muhammad, because the religious extremist were mad at them for showing Muhammad in human form.[/sp].
At the moment when they mentioned that the gingers had a leader, I KNEW it was going to be Scott
By the way, I think I speak for a lot of us when I say thanks for the spoiler tags.
I loved the Vietnam part.
oh god the censoring in the end.
I thought it was a joke, but apparently Comedy Central was censoring it: http://www.southparkstudios.com/news/3878
Those Dicks Killed Pip. :saddowns:
Those Dicks Killed Pip. :saddowns:
When was the last time he was in an episode anyway (except for 201)?
I don't care, Pip was pimp. also, I loved that ending, [sp]at first I thought they were talking about Imaginationland, which I think was the point, but their version was so much better than that, R.I.P Wilziax[/sp] :saddowns: [editline]10:04PM[/editline] I was also a bit dissapointed that with all those throwbacks they didn't even mention Chef.
Oh shit now i can't watch the whole 14th season besides the first episode!
A Statement from Matt and Trey "In the 14 years we've been doing South Park we have never done a show that we couldn't stand behind. We delivered our version of the show to Comedy Central and they made a determination to alter the episode. It wasn't some meta-joke on our part. Comedy Central added the bleeps. In fact, Kyle's customary final speech was about intimidation and fear. It didn't mention Muhammad at all but it got bleeped too. We'll be back next week with a whole new show about something completely different and we'll see what happens to it. "
http://www.southparkstudios.com/news/
hah the speech wasn't supposed to be bleeped? thats interesting. Still gave me a laugh when it was all bleeped anyways.
I wonder if there is a way to get a hold of a manuscript from some where, I'd really like to see what they censored out of that speech.
I was also a bit dissapointed that with all those throwbacks they didn't even mention Chef.
Although a Chef reference would of been awesome, I'm sure they didn't include one because Issac Hayes, the voice actor behind him died a few years ago, and they did it out of respect to him.
They should "leak" the episode. Like on purpose
http://www.southparkstudios.com/news/
Wow, the speech wasn't supposed to be bleeped? That's pretty fucking retarded, it sounded so ridiculous it was like a joke.
Wow Comedy Central, not supporting your best show just because they offended half the world
The episode airs in the UK tomorrow night. Hopefully we get an uncensored version, although it's unlikely because it's on Comedy Central UK.
Wow Comedy Central, not supporting your best show just because they offended half the world
Not even. Most Muslims I know have better things to do with their time than getting pissed off every time south park mentions Muhammad.
