I don't really dislike any of the characters, but without Cartman (and to lesser degree, Kenny and Butters) SP wouldn't even be half of what it is.

But they also need serious characters like Stan and Kyle to drive the episode forward or whatever, it would just be mindless fart jokes 24/7 if it was just those three fucking around. They're all an important role.
I love South Park, haven't seen the new episode yet though.

What made the new episode great, was that it focused on Randy Marsh being a dumbass, as usual.

Today's episode was really funny, I think it was funnier than last weeks.
