That episode was smart on so many levels, and giffany was adorable.

Loved this episode. It was really weird (but no less funny) to see dating sims and "squids" referenced in a kids show.
But I wonder if the[sp]possessed animatronics[/sp]really was a reference to[sp]5 Nights at Freddy's[/sp]and not just a coincidence.
I mean, doesn't the timing of the game's popularity spike and the episode lie a bit too close together?

Hoo-Ha's Jamboree is way more based on ShowBiz Pizza than FN@F's. There's a Tumblr post I can't find that accurately compares all the band members to their ShowBiz counterparts.
