Finally caught up with the Gravity Falls and holy shit that ending in Not What He Seems. Jesus christ, it fucking happened
I both love and hate shows like Gravity Falls.
I love them because they're filled to the seams with creativity and amazing writing. The lore and world is alive as well as the story and there's so much room to explore, its like an open world game that hasn't been released yet.
I hate them because my brain responds by going into overload with the imagination and attempting to suppress it causes headaches. I sit here wondering whether I'll be able to do anything with these ideas because I'm no artist, I don't know music. All I have is my writing and enthusiasm but writing is subpar at best.
I can't wait for the new episodes, it'll be exciting, I'll have to pack away some painkillers though.

Nobody's born with those skills. You have to work for them. Plenty of untalented people have made it, plenty of talented people haven't.

Over the Garden Wall was pretty gosh dang great. My girlfriend kept mentioning that she had wanted to watch it, so I sat down and did the first episode with her, figuring I'd zone out and piss about on the computer for a while. Instead, we powered through the whole thing in one sitting. It's very funny and cute, but also really surprisingly disturbing. The lore of the world they're stuck in is rich, but fucked.
Yeah I binge watched it too.
I also like that it ended. Helped to keep the story focused.
Sometimes a little bit TOO "lol random" but I can live with that I'm probably just grumpy.
The lantern reminded me of something. But I don't know what.

I finally caught up with the series after not watching since the first season ended. oh pls dipifica ship hnnnnnnng. I can't wait till episode 12 finally comes out eventually.
I'm hoping Pacifica leaves her parents and lives with the pines and they solve the mysteries of Gravity Falls
that would make me sooooo happy, even though its pretty fanfic-y i really hope it happens.
I can already see it happening though, with her going against her parents by letting the citizens into the manor to break the curse and by actually being somewhat closer to Dipper. She has had so much character development through Golf Wars and Northwest Manor Mystery that it's pretty much implying she's going to be on the side of the Pines.
Speculating about the show just makes the wait worse
There's so so much that's about to immediately happen as soon as it comes back and we don't even know when that will be
