What's with the last few episodes being leaked online a week before being aired?

There's nothing that's really changed the tv-universe or altered all of the episodes yet. They're all in chronological order, but so far it doesn't really matter which order you watch them as long as you watch the pilot first. By what I said, I meant (in darkest terms) a character getting killed off or a significant location being destroyed.
For example, a real dramatic reveal would be when[sp]the significance and meaning of the books are fully understood. For example, who wrote them, why there are different volumes, and how Gideon even got the volume two. Gideon hasn't made an impact on the main story arc yet - nothing has, except for Dipper finding the book.[/sp]

[sp]Each and every villain (if there is a villain in that episode) always says "I will have my revenge!" or something along the lines of that, so I wouldn't doubt if they all team up together and take their "revenge". Would make for a good season finale, along with some sort of cliffhanger or something.[/sp]

Anyone who follows my sister's antics in the MSPA (Homestuck) thread will be glad to know she watched the entirety of Gravity Falls after I showed it to her. The entire family agrees that the show is amazing, but my sister is devoted to a rather crazy degree.

She started texting me at 7am about how she got freeze-frames of everything in the intro video, and how she is confused why the free mason symbols have a top hat on.
I had to remind her that its a kid show and the pyramid eye thing can wear a top hat if it wants.
I'd like the show, but when my cousins come over watch it On Demand, they fucking replay the ghost episode over and over again.

Nice to see Kristen Schaal doing more shows, no matter what they are. I'm glad it's a good one.
I just saw this show yesterday, it is amazingly better than I ever expected. Mostly my hopes were low because Disney. Even the stuff people say is good on disney I personally find to be complete crap, like Motorcity. God that's such a bad show...
But this, it feels like a throwback to old cartoons but without the more annoying traits of old cartoons like forgetting the last episode ever happened or completely flat characters. On note of the characters, god I love them all. Mabel especially makes thing hilarious as a main character, and Soos has to be one of my favorites. They do silly characters right in that they're just silly, not borderline retarded like a lot of shows.

Okay but really, I'm glad everybody likes the show as much as I do. Unfortunately, ThePotentPotables doesn't have any uploads of the show, so I have to scurry about /co/ and look for a link to the next episode, which I haven't been able to do for a while and most likely won't be able to do for even longer. I'd appreciate anybody who could give downloads to the individual episodes themselves.

Just watched the first episode on itunes (First episode is 100% free in 720p)
instantly hooked, Mabel is my favorite character so far, but wendy (she seems like the "cool" person of the show) and Soos are a close second.
