It means that this chapter is closed, and that I, at least for now, am personally done telling their story.[/quote] This is really important i think, i'm not saying that we should get a spin off, i'm really satisfied by the show's run and can't wait to see the finale, but i think there are some cool possibilities to explore the world of Gravity Falls more if Alex wants. I'd love a young Stan and Ford show for example.

I'm glad its ending, I dont like when shows go on forever.

I was hoping that it would get darker, but it was still a good episode. I'm really excited for the finale. Also awhile ago my tv stopped recording gravity falls and I couldn't figure out why. Then recently I looked and saw that my cable provider didn't have the plain old disney anymore. Rip high quality option.

Also, the finale is going to be an hour long, and looking at the release schedule for episodes, it doesn't seem too far off. Still bullshit that it wouldn't come around Christmas, especially since kids are going to be home around then.

Honestly, I didn't find it that great an episode. It was good, yeah, but not really that good. Not good enough for the penultimate, anyway. But here's hoping the finale is amazing.

Wonder if there will be some sort of Christmas special instead.

Feels like it's been decades since i knew this (not so long) show. But damn, Ford's introduction feels like it was yesterday.

Curious as to what Hirsch will make next. IMO the show wouldn't have benefitted a lot from another season.

They might end up doing some one off episodes of them at high school or something to test the water, and if it goes well, greenlight a new season.

This show ending isn't a bad thing. Honestly, good shows dragging on and living on as shit is just shameful. Now the creator can use that creative energy to make another great setting and tell another great story.
