Gravity Falls - A show based on all those sub-par camping trips

Man it's rare that endings make me emotional and that was a great one too
[Sp] there's also apparently a hidden message in Bills final words stating that he's gonna come back somehow or something [/sp]
Such a good ending to a very good show.
The best thing about this is that if Alex wants, he can totally make a new show, there's so much potential
[sp]For example a show with the next summer season, and bill's return maybe, there still are things left unsaid about the city of Gravity Falls, like that flying saucer stuff etc. Another idea obviously would be a Stanley and Standford show (if that happens the perfect name for it would be "The Tales Of Two Stans", like the Ford reveal episode)[/sp]
I've heard there might be a feature film or something but anything more than that is pretty unlikely.
What a great finale. Enjoyed every minute of it- and that ending was about as heartwarming as it gets.
[sp]What's the point of Stan sacrificing his memories if he's just going to get them back 3 minutes later?[/sp]

Sorry it was the only link I could find.

I think it would be neat if he doesn't fully recover at the end of the series like that, but at the end he starts getting better, acknowledging Waddles, etc.
Such a wonderful ending, to such a high quality show. Thanks Alex for the fun, mystery and memories!
I just realized a nice bit of casting.
[sp]The bus driver is Kyle MacLahan AKA Agent Cooper. Main character of Twin Peaks, which could be considered the show that started the 'weird town in the middle of nowhere with mysteries and quirky characters' genre on TV.[/sp]

[sp]He was willing to sacrifice himself to save everything. I think that's what's truly meaningful. After that, it was Mabel's belief in the power of love that brought him back, even though Ford thought it was impossible. I feel like maybe not enough was made of that. It would've been nice if Ford had given them both a personal goodbye and praised Mabel for her outside the box thinking.
It seems that a person can recover their memories if they're exposed to enough reminders of what they've forgotten. It happened to Fiddleford and it seemed to be what happened to Stan if you don't like the "power of love" thing.[/sp]
I always loved it when shows with awesome themes used it during awesome moments during the show or finales.
[sp]RIP Time Cops :([/sp]

I know this isn't a popular opinion, and I'm not looking down on you or anyone for disagreeing or anything, but most of the time I find rock reprises to be really cheesy and lame. If the instrumentation was different I'd probably have enjoyed that moment a lot more.
I'm not really sure why, but the whole association between electric guitar and "cool and epic" is just lost on me, I guess. And I used to play the dang instrument.
Honestly thought [sp]bald time cop was going to return with more time cops,[/sp] but nope.
[sp]What the fuck even happened with Blendin, did he really just pussy out and leave?[/sp]

He got out of time-dodge, found an alternate timeline where he died and pretended nothing happened.
[sp]Also holy shit when Bill almost killed Mabel near the end. At least I think it was her symbol he ended up landing on?[/sp]

That scene was probably one of my favorite moments in the show.
Did anyone else notice the EVA on the TV when Soos and McGucket were watching anime?

First Steven Universe and now Gravity Falls.
Guess Evangelion was a big inspiration for goofy children's cartoons.
Finally watched the whole two series over the last few days. I saw the first two episodes ages ago and kind of forgot about the show and decided to watch it all when I heard it was ending.
Wow it must of sucked to have waited for so long.
Infinite Hiatus, boys!
So this is the end, huh.
What's next?

We wait for Journal 3 (Dipper's name's gonna be in there so that's interesting.)
I'd love to see a DVD release of the series with commentary from Bill.
I know I'll be buying that journal.
