Now here's a trend that quite literally can't fuck off and die soon enough.
Why is that a bad thing? You get an idea of what the movie is gonna be like without having to spoil actual parts of the movie. As long as those scenes still represent the movie, that is. People always complain about trailers showing too much, anyways.
Isn't there suppose to be a statue of John Hammond in Jurassic World?
Now here's a trend that quite literally can't fuck off and die soon enough.
I don't really see this as a bad thing. My theory is that certain scenes are better used in a trailer than in the final movie. Some scenes may work better with other/unusual perspectives.
Guys
Fuck yes!
Chris Pratt is so the new Harrison Ford. Women will want him. Men want to be him. I want to be him.
Oh shit, it looks wonderful! I really want to know how the velociraptor stuff plays out.
That was too much CGI...
I think the movie will go the Godzilla CGI route. Some iffy scenes with really fucking awesome scenes. Plus Legendary loves using big CGI shots
I can't wait, this is everything I've wanted from a Jurassic Park sequel. That said, Chris Pratt's dialog is unintentionally hilarious. I was half expecting them to be like: "IT'S ESCAPED, WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO, CHRIS PRATT?" "I'm gonna go out there... *cocks gun* and make it extinct..." Still excited, can't wait.
Trained velociraptors HNNGGGH
I'm not disappointed. But if one practical dinosaur had appeared, I would have fucking flipped.
Trained velociraptors HNNGGGH
Trained? Just because they don't attack him? People can also live among wolves and gorillas, while others would get killed.
I wasn't complaining, I thought it was kinda badass.
Sorry, thought you did. IMDB gets flooded by stupid people who complain about everything in the trailer.
That was too much CGI...
To me it looks more like they used CG for the same things they used it for in the last couple of movies, like running dinosaurs and for dinosaurs that building an animatronic would have been too impractical (like the mosasaur).
Sad to say I didn't feel any feeling of wonder or enticement from the trailer
Now here's a trend that quite literally can't fuck off and die soon enough.
It's not even a new trend, movie trailers have done this forever.
That was too much CGI...
they've been using cgi since the first one quit crying over spilled milk
Guys
The hype is ON now.
Sad to say I didn't feel any feeling of wonder or enticement from the trailer
Welcome to adulthood. Anyway I'm looking forward to it. It'll have to be pretty bad for me not to enjoy it.
That scene with the Kronosaurus jumping for the great white shark was rad as fuck
THE HYPE IS REAL
Looks like the only thing that might be enjoyable is the CGI.

The gate is a practical effect
Did the original movie use CGI? Yeah, but it didn't use it every single shot. The characters didn't enter a room and suddenly turn into plastic dolls as everything was CG. I can tell you that a huge percentage of that trailer was CGI, and that really doesn't excite me as much, because one of the biggest things about Jurassic Park was that you felt like the dinosaurs were there, and CGI can no longer convey that to me in most cases (believe me, I was so happy when I walked out of movies like Godzilla and Guardians of the Galaxy and realized the heavy use of CG didn't bother me as much as I thought it would). A single shot with practical effects (that practical version of the sphere excited me), visual proof that the filmmakers aren't so preoccupied with whether or not they could do something with CGI that they don't stop to think if they should do it, and I'd be happy. I'm not disappointed, I'm not giving up on the movie- it's just the first trailer after all- I was just expecting something else.
fuck off m8 it's 2014 every film pretty much uses cgi now, deal with it
fuck off m8 it's 2014 every film pretty much uses cgi now, deal with it
I'm not telling them not to use CGI, I'm saying to just use it when it's needed.
I'm not telling them not to use CGI, I'm saying to just use it when it's needed.
Except the shots they showed needed the cgi
