And don't tell me 'practical effects aren't ready that's why they didn't put it in' because they clearly put some non-final CGI on that trailer.

So far in the trailer there were no close shots of dinos[/QUOTE] this so much you only had animatronics when the dinosaurs were close enough and people in raptor suits nothing that we saw would be possible with those two, but that doesn't rule them out just yet. also as far as practical effects, a lot of this movie is shot on-location and on sound stages with little or no blue screens, like the original.

I'm not saying there are no practical effects in the movie, I'm criticizing their choice to not display the fact they are following in the footsteps of the original by cleverly mixing CGI and practical effects- something that it seems like they're at least trying to do from what Trevorrow has been showing on Twitter. Instead, what we get are big CGI shots just like any other big trailer for big movies for the past five years or so. It's just so same-y.

Ian Malcolm I can see being shown on a talk show warning the head doctor lady about meddling with nature. Really, I just can't see a logical reason why Dr. Grant or Dr. Malcolm would return.
