Details about the Jurassic World Lego game reveal that you can play as the Dinosaurs and make up your own with parts you find. Also you can fully "explore" Nublar and Sorna apparently. http://www.destructoid.com/confirmed-you-can-play-as-dinosaurs-in-lego-jurassic-world-287169.phtml
No lie, I've been wanting a JP game where you play as a dinosaur and roam the island ever since I first played Jaws:Unleashed. This is literally a dream come true. Now all we need is Operation Genesis 2.
What is this? Dinosaurs driving jeeps?
if raptors can open doors the i-rex can drive a jeep damn it
clever girl
What is this? Dinosaurs driving jeeps?
It's obviously for transportation. On topic of the Indomuns Rex, it looks like it can [sp]open its jaw to a 90 degree angle[/sp] Also: Irrfan Khan confirms that there was built Indominus Rex animatronic
For those who didn't know, Stan Winston School (not related with the works on JW or Legacy Effects) commented on the whole CGI over animatronic and hybrid thing: https://twitter.com/SWinstonSchool/status/568578222792638464
Remember when #dinosaurs didn't need to be hybrids to be cool & when they were real
And then they backpedaled: https://twitter.com/SWinstonSchool/status/568612745018359808
There are many practical and digital artists working on #JurassicWorld. We are excited to see the movie and how it incorporates both mediums
if he wanted to be a real hipster he would have commented on the guys in the raptor suits
New video from Masrani: Ice Age animals are being teased on the official site. I quote directly from JurassicWorld.org and what they wrote:
Interestingly, the website has also updated with the ‘2014 Investors Report’ which has some potential new information seemingly loaded with hints. First up, we have learned that Masrani Globals CFO is named Richard Wiesner- a role Vincent D’Onofrio was originally rumored to play. D’Onofrio is playing Vic Hoskins, head of InGen private security- but judging by earlier trade rumors it seems safe to assume Mr. Wiesner will appear in the film, perhaps played by James DuMont. Further, the investors report also points out the heavier focus on ‘Project Martel’, which is an expedition to recover frozen Cenozoic Era (65 mya - present) specimens from Siberia. Siberia is known for producing frozen corpses from Ice Age animals such as the Wooly Mammoth, and this seems to hint at the potential for Ice Age animals in future Jurassic films. The website acknowledges that potential directly via a quote from Dr. Henry Wu (played by BD Wong): "Right now we are focused on the construction of the world's most complete genomic library", Dr. Wu reiterated. "But if the world tells us that's what they want to see, we're more than prepared.” Jurassic World is only 107 days away, but the world it’s set in continues to grow with incredible depth and fascinating promise. Masrani Global has continued to raise interesting questions, such as Project Martel’s true importance- right next to IBRIS, the mysterious InGen security project. The answers to how this all fits together remains elusive, but the promise of the puzzle fitting together June 12th is endearing. As always, stay tuned for the latest on everything ‘Jurassic’, and be sure to sound off in our comments and forums!
Good news: Park website got updated with the following dinos: Microceratus Baryonix Suchomimus Edmontosaurus Pteranodon Dimorphodon Metriachantosaurus Bad news: All of them (except Dimorphodons and Pteranodons) are painted, which means that we might not see them in the movie. It's not 100% sure though. Also, Scans from the Empire Magazines stuff: [sp]One of the writers of that article said that he saw a dinosaur in the control room[/sp]
How much do you wanna bet that we'll see those heart monitors on the troopers flatline one by one on screen like that scene in Aliens?
Glad to see Pvt. "Gomer Pyle" finally doing something with himself.
Two things: First, Omar Sy's character is revealed. He is the guy who is responsible to look after the raptors in their cages, after Owen researches their behavior.
"I wrote the role especially for Omar, I'm a huge fan, I spent a lot of time in France, my wife is French. He has a bigger role than you think - he works for Chris Pratt and is also a Raptor tamer. When Chris, who's in charge, is done with training the Velociraptors, Omar brings them to their cage and takes care of them, checking their teeth, these kind of things. He has a very special relationship with them. There's a great scene with Vincent D'Onofrio when Omar speaks French to the Raptors and Vincent pretends to understand what he's saying. I have not tried to Americanize him - he is French and has a great action scene. Everything he does results in a close relationship with the Velociraptors."
http://www.jurassicworld.org/?id=256#comments Second, but take it with a grain of salt: A user on Reddit claims to have seen an early screening or testfootage of the movie. He said:[sp]It. Was. Awesome. The human elements are really well executed and there are so many neat surprises. Stoked for the final version in june![/sp] http://www.reddit.com/r/JurassicPark/comments/2yb2k1/i_just_got_to_seeread_a_bit_of_jw/ There also seems to be a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE spoiler which is put in spoilers (thank god) in his comment. I didn't see it, I'd rather experience the movie on my own.
cannot come soon enough

They photoshoped her butt out...
i think it's the angle more than photoshop.
Promo image for Pratt's Raptors just came out as well as a new still from the film
Is it me or do the raptors look like they're a conjoined set of four :v:
Is it me or do the raptors look like they're a conjoined set of four :v:
Imagine if they were just like "fuck it, we need new attractions. Quad-Raptor, go do it." And then Irffan Khan is like "IT WILL GIVE THE PARENTS NIGHTMARES."
fuck yes official lego game trailer
That might be the first Lego game I'll get in years. Oh man, it looks so fun.
I just found the best goddamn part of Lego Jurassic World. IGN had a hands on with it. And they are very pumped for it, seems to become one of Travellers Tales best Lego games. Chase sequences are a big part of this game. And here comes the best thing about it:
The entire Jurassic Park trilogy packed in plenty of chase sequences, and from the looks of it, Jurassic World will continue the trend. One of the most memorable chases in the series (and honestly, film history), is the T-Rex chase where Jurassic Park's largest inhabitant trails a Jeep holding Sattler, Muldoon, and Malcom (the latter of whom sported a new torn-shirt character model). There's usually a lot going on during these scenes, and this one was the perfect showcase. In addition to navigating the vehicle away from the T-Rex's wrath (and towards bigger stud bounties) as Muldoon, I was able to switch to Malcom as he tried to toss flares into the creature's mouth. While it was the fastest of the three brief scenes, it was also the most enjoyable. TT Games promised quite a bit of variety of these chases. Outside of the 20-stage campaign (featuring five levels from each movie), any chase can be recreated with a different creature doing the running and the ability to put some of the series' smaller dinos in the drivers seat. You read that right. If you want to see a pack of Dilophosaurs driving away from a rampaging Stegosaurus, LEGO Jurassic World can help fulfill that fantasy.
http://de.ign.com/leog-jurassic-park/104313/preview/vorschau-zu-lego-jurassic-world-dinos-marke-eigenb

i would love to go to jurassic world
See, shit like this is why I can't completely agree with the "don't tamper in God's domain" thing. At least when it comes to making goddamn dinosaurs. I will always identify with Hammond when it comes to actually wanting the park made, just for the majesty of the thing.
New TV Spot, featuring a few new cool shots of the I-Rex in action! Also, some rumors floating around (potential spoilers obviously): [sp]-Half the island is a nature preserve where wild dinosaurs run free. Obviously, it's off limits. But people are kinda forced to head out there once shit starts to go south. -Raptors are pretty well trained, but they still act a little twitchy. Shock collars zap 'em whenever they act up, and this pisses 'em off. Once things go tits up, the collars stop working and they meet up with some feral raptors. Then things get worse. -Protagonists lure the raptors to the Moasasaur enclosure, end up feeding the fish. -The T-Rex is the same one from the first movie. Scars from fighting the raptors and everything. The protagonists use flares to lure him out to fight the I-Rex. T-Rex apparently kicks the shit out of the cocky newcomer in the climax of the film.[/sp] These are just rumors from some guy on 4chan who claims to have seen an advanced screening. That said, I would be 100% okay with this being true.

If them being fed or going feral, could be a sad moment if they build them up as buddies to Pratt's character. Good. T-Rex destroying the I-Rex, seems so predictable, but it's going to be so worth it. Nothing beats the king. [/sp]
Hell yes T-Rex roar. I didn't read any of your spoilers, but I'm pretty sure someone in another forum pointed out that the 4Chan user also said that the soundtrack sounds incredible. Michael Giacchino hasn't started making the music yet. Also, new merchandise material: [t]http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag337/nemosoul321/22_zpsgj0l5jem.jpg[/t] [t]http://40.media.tumblr.com/b2c66c28ceee056e8b9b639102f8a619/tumblr_nm07j35eEP1rsiohpo1_1280.jpg[/t] [t]http://40.media.tumblr.com/0efe604d2f63a611dc2ff9d0c375a9c5/tumblr_nm07j35eEP1rsiohpo8_1280.jpg[/t] [t]http://41.media.tumblr.com/86b5d4eb928fe7ff969f7f7c12b553eb/tumblr_nm07j35eEP1rsiohpo9_1280.jpg[/t][t]http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag337/nemosoul321/1_zpsugfymmll.jpg[/t] You can see part of the headgear on the first one. [t]http://www.jurassicworld.org/news/uploads/jurassic_worldbed.jpg[/t] I don't need... I don't need it... I. NEED. IT.
I tried my hardest to avoid this thread but its so difficult. I'm just too excited for this film.
Did a three trailer shot comparison here. Sadly I didn't manage getting them on the same frame. Open them in new tabs for easy comparing.
