I did in fact shed a few tears. I wasn't paying attention to the time and it was just so beautiful out of nowhere.
Jurassic Park has been my favourite film since I was 7 but always thought the ones after diverged a bit from the plot of the first movie.. That said I'M SO FUCKING HYPED that this one looks like it'll be set like the first Jurassic Park.

That looks like CGI to me, though they did use a full animatronic for other photos. I just think that shot in particular is just the head.

I think the marketing pretty much fucked some of the material up. They tried way too hard to appeal to the younger audience with the trailers. I'm sure the trailers don't do the movie justices. Even Chris Pratt was disappointed with the first trailer.
I'm pretty sure the marketing is also the reason why all the trailers have this blue teint over it. The officially released clips don't have any of it.
What are the current odds on the Spinosaurus showing up again, even if it's just to get fed to the I. rex? I vaguely recall seeing something that implied it would get a cameo a few months ago.

JW premiered in France and in a short interview Trevorrow said that he won't direct JW2 because the new JW movies will be similiarily handled like the new Star Wars movies. Each director will be able to put in their own vision into the movies

It's been known since they started making it that JW marks the start of a new trilogy. It's kind of a restart since Jurassic Park 2 and Jurassic Park 3 didn't go anywhere.
Here's what Trevorrow said about it.

I wouldn't say no to it. The problem with the original trilogy was that it went nowhere. It didn't feel like a trilogy because part 1 pretty much felt finished. This time they have at least planned something through.
