Is Mike Milligan a cop? I can't remember from the first episode but was it him and Everybody Loves Raymond who are doing like an undercover thing or something?
Spoilers from EP1 [sp]No they are the Kansas Mafia. They are trying to take over their territory[/sp]
So whose everybody loves Raymond?
So whose everybody loves Raymond?
I swear to God I thought it was Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
So everybody loves raymonds brother is working for Kansas city and not the police?
Bokeem Woodbine is SO FUCKING GOOD. Like holy shit they way he portrays Mike Milligan is just fucking spectacular
i didn't say I liked it, I said i was surprised
The second name of this show should be "escalation".
And I fucking love it.
Hnng the cinematography and writing in this show is great.
Kinda iffy about the whole [sp]alien[/sp] thing.
Latest episode might be my favorite of the season so far. Also, Bruce Campbell is great as Reagan.

Even if he broke the urinal code of honor?

The writer must really hate Reagan for making him such a tool. :v:
I'm sad a [sp] kictchen brother died, but I'm happy one survived.
Thought both died, didn't notice one was knocked out.[/sp]
This season is so fucking good.

This show is fucking amazing and anyone who disagrees is factually wrong.

It's seriously the best show of all time.
I'm shocked it only got better, and didn't pull a true detective and get worse.
Mike Milligan is easily my favorite character out of any show so far, he's so fucking great.
Really hoping that "the Undertaker" is going to be a young Malvo but odds are against it.
God damn this show is good

Especially when he randomly quotes
'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"
He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought—
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.
And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!
One, two! One, two! and through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.
What an amazing man.
Nick Offerman killed his role, goddamn.
"the jackboots are here" was one of my favorite lines this past episode.
Heyo just found this thread. I'm from Minnesota, and my mom and I always nitpick the show for MN authenticity. I'm loving this season so far, except for when they said casserole. It's never casserole, it's "hot dish", dangit. Lemme know if you have any questions for a Minnesotan.

Also, cool thing I noticed: sometimes the end credit song is a cover of a song featured in a Coen Brothers movie, like Down in the Willow Garden (Raising Arizona).
[sp]how ed was just like 'eh i had to kill another fella' was amazing[/sp]

[sp]i got the feeling that they'd make ed's death parallel lester's death if they do kill him off. him and peggy seem to have filled a similar role to lester this time around and i think it'd be cool if it rhymed with an accidental/otherwise unexpected death for the pair sometime during episode 9-10[/sp]

[sp] I don't know about that, Lester's problem was he was a coward and murderer, whereas Ed is mostly just trying to get by in life and is put into positions where he's had to kill people, both being pretty justifiable. Unlike Lester who straight up just murdered his wife.

I just realized that was the season's major reference to the movie.
Ed seems to be dragged into it though. Lester brought himself into deep shit, but i can't help but feeling Ed is just trying to do what's right for his family. I feel for the guy man.
It's too bad his wife is batshit insane and he can't see it.
