Would be a pretty boring plot otherwise :v:.
Sopranos spoiler: [sp]Didn't expect them to pull an Adriana drive with the daughter.[/sp] Fargo only now: [sp]The way they're breaking down Milligan now feels a lot like a deconstruction of the Malvo character from last season, showing how even under all that cool demeanor, they're still regular people who can fail.[/sp] [sp]And just when I thought Ed couldn't get better, he goes and does that.[/sp]
Third season, yooooooooo
I'm actually worried. I thought season 1 was the best thing ever and season 2 would probably be worse..then season 2 is the best thing ever how the fuck is season 3 going to top season 2 i actually can't imagine it happening, jesus fuck this season has been amazing.
[sp]the scene with Milligan taking out the Undertaker with the wrist Derringer made me out loud yell YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO that was sick. Him and Ed are my favourite characters, but I also really like how Lou doesn't fuck around, and it's interesting to go into this knowing he makes it, but I wonder if he's the only one?[/sp] also hearing Jethro Tull's Locomotive Breath was awesome at the start of the episode [sp]what does everyone think of the UFO/alien angle?[/sp]
Lou is going to get hurt. He had a clear limp in the first season and there's no way they're not going to make that happen by the end of this season.
"the jackboots are here" was one of my favorite lines this past episode.
OUT OF MY WAY, TOOL Of THE STATE! Haven't caught up with yesterday's episode yet, but damn this season is great.
Honestly I don't think the story for this season is especially strong, but my god do they have the best damn characters to hit television this time. A fair trade in my opinion.
bone tomahawk has Hanzee's actor and Lou's actor in this season. Patrick Wilson is a main character in it, and Hanzee has a very small role tho he looks baller as fuck. Felt really neat seeing two characters from this show in a movie made at around the same time :V Hanzee is easily my biggest surprise out of this season, he's an actor I've never seen before and kills his role.

I know the actor from Longmire though as the chief of tribal police.

He's a badass in a very calm and dignified way. I thought Patrick Wilson will not be able to deliver correctly, after Keith Carradine making such an impact, but he's doing really fine.
HOLY SHIT I'M DUMB! IT MAKES SENSE NOW! I had no idea that Lou is the coffee guy from season 1. :suicide:
How did you not instantly recognise Molly? :v:
Unless Lou lied in season 1 he said it was unrelated and took a bullet to the hip during a routine traffic shop some years down the line.
The moment they announced that the 2nd season would be taking place in the late 70s with him in it I knew he was lying. [editline]25th November 2015[/editline] I would be shocked if they don't show him get shot in this season.
he did seem pretty hesitant to go on about "What happened in '79", so he could've been lying.

The song on her car radio last episode was Just Dropped In, featured during the Big Lebowski tripping scene. And the ending featured O Death, from O Brother Where Art Thou. I dare you to out-Coen-Brother me. [editline]25th November 2015[/editline] [sp]what does everyone think of the UFO/alien angle?[/sp]
I'm really iffy on it. Just when the mood got good I would get really confused when they alluded to it.
The UFO thing is going to be the segue into the 3rd season which will take place in 1947 in Roswell, Minnesota (later to be relocated to New Mexico by aliens)

[editline]27th November 2015[/editline] For some reason the rest of his post doesn't want to stay in the quote. Weird
Kind of disappointed by [sp]The Undertaker. I kind of expected him to be a young Lorne Malvo.[/sp]
[sp]I don't expect Mike's plan to go as smoothly as he does. Can't wait to see how this will turn out.[/sp]
Sopranos spoiler: [sp]Didn't expect them to pull an Adriana drive with the daughter.[/sp]
Reminded me of a scene from Miller's Crossing
Reminded me of a scene from Miller's Crossing
That most definitely was the direct inspiration.
I gotta say, seeing [sp] Dodd put in his place by lil ol Peggy [/sp] is making my day. Dodd's expressions are priceless. Aaaand not so subtle nod to the Fargo movie. (We're going crazy there down at the lake) [editline]30th November 2015[/editline] Wow, wow, wow. Best episode of the season so far. That ending scene, the whole ep. Wow.
Holy shit that ending Kind of disappointed [sp]that Mike and Ed won't meet now[/sp] But I'm sure it'll happen in some way, knowing Fargo.
Holy shit that ending Kind of disappointed [sp]that Mike and Ed won't meet now[/sp] But I'm sure it'll happen in some way, knowing Fargo.
The promo for the next ep implied that they would meet.
The promo for the next ep implied that they would meet.
Along with every single other character in the show, so I doubt they'll have much 1v1 talks. [editline]30th November 2015[/editline] Just not quite the same.
The movie that Ed's wife was watching was definitely foreshadowing what was to come/will come.
The movie that Ed's wife was watching was definitely foreshadowing what was to come/will come.
Oh fuck, could it be that [sp]Dodd is still alive?[/sp]
Oh fuck, could it be that [sp]Dodd is still alive?[/sp]
[sp]Hanzee shot Dodd in the head, and there is a big hole in the back of his head. so no[/sp]
