I've been watching the show lately and it is fantastic
Every word that comes out of Lorne's mouth is gold.

Man that was a good episode.

It was irregular
I'm digging the biblical parallels they're setting up, it'll be fascinating to see where it goes.

I think it's only because of the "story" of how whatshisname found the money. Remember how they kept saying how such a weird story it was, then in last episode they actually showed it - he prayed for help and then found the cash? They're setting up biblical plagues to blackmail money out of him only because of how he made the money in the first place.
I love the fact that now it's directly connected to the film, not just in a way of easter eggs or something like that.
And it's done in a clever way, too. They're not just doing something obvious like having Molly be Marge's daughter - using the money makes the show greater for those who saw the movie but doesn't hurt those who haven't.
The one thing that irks me is how just about everyone has a super strong northern accent. I live in Minnesota and maybe like every 1/10 people I meet have it that bad and its mostly in old people.
I suppose its just a novelty thing they have to do because of the movie
It's just funny don't read too deep into it
That connection to the film was absolutely great, and I personally think it just keeps being excellent.
I got really excited and giddy once I noticed the ice scraper in the snow. I wonder if they'll have any other true connections to the film or not, though. Gaear could still be alive, along with Jerry and Shep, even just a quick glance at a police file on them or something would be nice.
Really looking forward to what else there will be in the show. Makes me proud to be a Minnesotan, even if it very-obviously-wasn't filmed on location.
I love how closely they mirrored the ice scraper scene from the film, down to the camera angles. One thing that irks me though, does Lorne know how Stavros got the money? He seems to have this weird intuition about everything that borders on prescience, and it kind of throws me off a bit, but I suppose that's just his character.

It was the bronzing trainer that told him. There was a scene an episode or two ago where they were talking about "the story of how he got the money" and they cut off to another scene before it was explained on camera. My guess is they did that so they could actually show the story of the money in the beginning of the next episode.
But he was definitely told it. I almost missed it myself if I didn't enjoy rewatching each episode.

I guess I missed that. I usually arrive about five or ten minutes into the episode, and the reruns are always at some godawful time early in the morning so I never catch those.
On an unrelated note, I found this weird article full of images of Lorne's face on things.

Well, he did read Stavros' book. I don't remember who said it, but I remember someone told him that nobody really knows - Stavros claimed he got it from his uncle, but neither of his uncles had any sort of cash.
It makes me sad thinking that if there is a season 2, BBT wont be in it. He is fucking so good in this show holy moly
This is one of the best shows on TV right now imo
also, Lester is adorable.

Was honestly quite frightened for Gus this episode.
This show, man. This show.

Last I heard was 10
Last I heard was 10
10 episodes for season one, more seasons if it does well, from what I've heard. Seeing as how it's doing pretty well, it'll probably get more seasons, which will be part of an anthology series. New story and characters each season.
Really good episode, I really enjoy Mr. Numbers & Wrench.
Whelp, I think Lester's [sp]life as he knew it is over. I can see how he can live the rest of his life as at least a fugitive.[/sp]
Wonder if Lester and Malvo will team up again
He would have to find out where Malvo is.
But knowing this show, it'll happen :v:
[sp] I really want to see Malvo get gun down by the end of all this, I am really hating him[/sp]
So much happened this episode, it was pretty damn good.
also did anyone notice [sp] that the parking garage as same one as in the movie[/sp]
