I'll be amazed, if by the end of the show we fully understand everything we've been seeing.
That was fucking amazing.
fam what the fuck did i just watch
oh shit [sp]the neighing at the end[/sp]
"Man everyone's saying episode 8 is huge, I hope Cooper gets his bearings back or Harry makes a surprise appearance or something!"
[sp]MEANWHILE, IN 1956[/sp]
that is easily the most experimental thing that has ever been broadcast on primetime tv
and it was fucking amazing
As soon as it starts going down the straight and narrow, what a fucking curve ball!
I mean it was great, but damn... now we gotta wait two weeks for the next episode instead of the usual one.
[editline]26th June 2017[/editline]
All I can get from this is its the [sp]possible creation of the Black Lodge with the explosion and the glowing orb? The little boy and girl are Leland and Sarah Palmer perhaps? I haven't got a clue as to what the 'Gotta light?' hobo is.[/sp]
This is going to supplant Eraserhead as the thing we show to people to demonstrate that David Lynch is fucking nuts and also maybe a genius.

So, don't know what to think about this episode so i'll just let the man himself do it for me.

EDIT
@Griffster26
OH SHIT A DAVID LYNCH ARG GOING ON ?!

Man, that was the worst Open Mic Night I've seen yet.
I'm sure we'll learn more and have less questions the next episode *man nervously mumbles for the 6th time in a row*.

I liked how some events in episode 8 [sp] were foreshadowed with the framed pictures in Gordon Cole's office and the lamp on the diner table at Janey-E's house[/sp]
I wanted to watch the new episode of Twin Peaks tonight but all I got was this stupid surrealist masterpiece.
i know its going to be confusing when i watch because i keep accidentally clicking spoilers in this thread and i still have no idea what happened

Dont click below if you havent watched the latest[/U][/B]
from what i see [sp]Humanity birthed a new evil with the atomic bomb (who i guess is bob). giant bald dude was like "o fuck i gotta stop it" and sent his golden laura palmer ball to earth to stop it somehow. the bug-frog thing was essentially bob finding a host for the first time.
The Hobos/Bob are interconnected, i guess acting as his spies and his helpers, which is why they took the weird face ball thing out of booper, turning him back into normal doppleganger coop.[/sp]
thats my shot in the dark

Oi. Don't diss the Nails. NIN's style jives perfectly with Twin Peaks I think.
My favorite will always be when the Chromatics, though. "He's still cool. He's always been cool." Even though I always thought Hurley was such a goofy and decidedly uncool character, I agreed with her :v:
[sp]I'm gonna be hearing "gotta light?" in my fucking dreams now I just know it[/sp]
Is the week delay just because Snowden is taking the block, or is it part of Lynch's master plan?

I was not talking about the concert.
How the fuck did that air
I'm not exactly sure what I just watched, but I loved every second of it.

I wanna buy lunch for the Showtime executive who let Lynch make this.
So I know the new season isn't like even remotely finished yet so really you probably can't actually answer this question at all, but do you think it'll end in a fairly conclusive manner?
I personally never got into Twin Peaks because it was left unfinished as it were, and I can't stand getting into something only for it to end in a state that doesn't really feel like a proper conclusion to me.
Still, the series seems pretty interesting and I absolutely loved Deadly Premonition. I probably really should wait until the new series is finished before I decide but I'd like to at least hear some preliminary opinions, if anyone has any input on this...?

original twin peaks was ended with a cliffhanger to desperately save it from cancellation.
so i kinda doubt that we will be left hanging in the end of this new series, since david lynch is given pretty much free hands to do what he likes (as we have been able to see thus far.)
im hoping that after 26 years we get at least some closure.

James was an annoying character in the original series but something about [sp] hearing how he hasnt been the same since a motorcycle accident made me feel really really sad [/sp] i wonder if they'll elaborate on that
maaaan this episode was just something else. i like how it's probably the most insane episode yet in this season, but at the same time contains so many answers.
[sp]Seems like Silencio Club from Mulholland Drive and that theatre in new episode are the same place.
Or it's just Lynch reusing set, who the fuck knows.[/sp]

I have no clue what to make of the new show and I think I'm giving up after this episode since I've completely lost any connection. Still hate how they kept the hair for the one deputy, it looks ridiculous.
