Twin Peaks - That show you like is going to come back in style

The Dougie plot is quite possibly the biggest most tortuous cocktease I have ever experienced, and still I am loving every second.
Glad to get more Bobby time. His face is just so amazingly expressive now.
Bobby is my favorite character this season and I am so sorry that the entire universe seems to be conspiring to make him cry in every scene he's in
[sp]Could be that she's setting him up for Narc raid?[/sp]
[sp]I'm more willing to believe that Shelly still has terrible taste in men.[/sp]
I've seen [sp] a lot of people saying they feel sorry for Bobby (in regards to Shelly), I mean come on man. Yeah sure he's obviously turned himself around and is now a really good guy, which I love. But why did he marry her when she was cheating on her last husband too (i know it was Leo but ehh), she's obviously got a shitty taste in men. I'm willing to bet she left him as soon as he stopped being a little shit lmao [/sp]

[sp]Bobby was young, dumb, and in love. When he started to turn his life around, he was probably hoping Shelly would grow up a little bit. He was obviously wrong. Him being dumped by a woman he loved simply because he didn't act like a hotshot anymore is reason enough to feel sorry for him, especially considering how they had a daughter and he became a responsible man.[/sp]

[sp]I'm guessing Lynch thinks having Cooper run around doing usual Cooper stuff would defeat the purpose of having a new show, even if that what he's building up to.[/sp]

[sp]To be honest, Cooper would just Deus Ex Cooper through the whole thing and take out Mr.C with a carefully thrown rock, if he wasn't in his current state.[/sp]
I'm honestly not sure we're ever going to see Cooper as we once knew him in the show.
[sp]If Coop were to come back next episode for example the remaining episodes would realistically have to be him dealing with all the consequences evil Coop did over the past 25 years. It wouldn't really make sense if Coop just randomly came back and starting talking about coffee and cherry pie out of nowhere.[/sp]
[sp]Unless they do something stupid like tease Season 4.[/sp]
i don't know how much (if any) of that is considered spoilers but i'll tag it just in case
God Mädchen Amick can play a good goddamn scumbag of a character

This would be unacceptable.
[sp]50 years later sequel![/sp]
[sp]The scene with Bobby in the diner and the street shooting feels like those "Everyone you pass is just an NPC" type posts you see. It's like only a few people in the world are sort of conscious, everyone else is just hollow filler, kind of in a lazy way but also very obviously acting strange. It was like Bobby was the only sane person in the entire segment. Same with the whole Dougie handwave "oh sometimes he goes into a state". Hes been unresponsive for a week or more, something is very obviously wrong. But everyone just keeps carrying him along and smiling. Somethings up with that.[/sp]
the description for tonight's episode is [sp]"Let's rock."[/sp]

Your gif matches this well
Enough shitposting- [sp]Will this be the episode where Cooper finally shows up? Or is it just a reference to the music? Last week gave me hope for the former, but knowing Lynch it will be the latter.[/sp]
I have a feeling it would have to do with [sp] The Arm perhaps, since when the midget first showed up in the show, he said "Let's rock" and danced. [/sp]

It was also in FWWM [sp]written on Chet Desmond's car windshield after he disappeared[/sp]
Had some good scenes, but this honestly felt like a filler episode.
So, [sp] let's rock was nothing really, just Diane saying it, and we got to see Audrey again which is awesome, and her husband the man whose proportions unnerve me a bit. [/sp]
Pretty underwhelming episode outside of [sp]getting to see Audrey and some more insight into Blue Rose[/sp]
edit: [sp]and sarah palmer's scenes[/sp]
Definitely a filler episode, imo the first actual demonstrable one so far. I still enjoyed it but damn do I wanna tell Lynch to get a fuckin move on, these long drawn-out scenes are starting to venture into "jesus christ I get it dude" territory.
This is a weird comment but has anyone noticed that [sp]Laura Palmer is in every credit sequence so far this season? I've noticed they only credit the people that were actually in the show, but Laura is credited every time. Could it be possible she might be making small cameos in every episode, hidden away somewhere that nobody is noticing? Maybe Leeland's phrase in the second episode: "Find Laura," might actually be intended for us? Of course, it might just be because every episode starts with the old high school picture of her but I'm not sure.[/sp]
It's obviously a bit of a long shot, but I thought I'd ask.

Probably that but you never know with Lynch.

Her face is in the opening credits
After the last episode I start to worry that this season is just [sp]a elaborate 18 hour long commercial for Mark Frost's new book[/sp].

Speaking of, does the show takes place before or after [sp]Secret History of Twin Peaks[/sp]?

[sp] Tammy is the author of the book, she writes it after the events of s3, if I'm remembering correctly [/sp]
