I still think field mouse did a better job.
I hope Lucy either isn't in the new season or just has a small part.
She just about ruined Season 2 for me.

It's okay, the actress who plays Lucy hates Season 2, and probably feels the same way you do about her performance.
Love Twin Peaks. Only got to see it in its entirety a month ago, but its still great rewatching it. I want to watch FWWM but I have no clue if I should just watch the original or wait until I find a way to see the Missing Pieces. I bought the Gold Box back when I thought it would never get a third season and don't want to buy the new collection for a while.
So will Agent Cooper [sP]Be The main bad guy because he is possessed by bob? [/sP]
twin peaks is awesome
Fire Walk with me is awesome in a completely messed up way
I will be saving that movie for the night before this show Premieres
I just finished season 2 and I've never felt a stronger connection to the "What the fuck am I reading" meme.
I loved it. :excited:
Damn, David Lynch is looking old.
He looks good for his age, though.
Yeah, he doesn't look too different from how he was back when the original show was still running. Like a fine wine, he's aged pretty well.

I finished twin peaks and FWWM a day ago, and I love Mayor Milford so much.

it's crazy that mayor milford's brother dougie [sp]was actually one of the men in black and silenced people who knew about UFOs/the lodge[/sp]
Life is strange got me interested in this show

Deadly Premonition was the thing that tipped me over the edge to actually watching it. Before that i knew about it, but i had never actually watched it.
Might rewatch this show. I only ever got as far as identifying the killer and a few episodes after, but I'm in the mood for weird.
Am I the only one who sees Twin Peaks as just as much of a bizarre comedy as a drama thriller?

Holy shit it was the exact same here

That's because it is.

It's not something I ever heard people talk about until I watched the show. The people I know who saw it back when it originally aired described it as a dark and scary drama thriller and most people I know who watched it after it aired just describes it as a drama thriller. When I went ahead and watched it the first thing that stood out to me was how genuinely funny it was which makes me wonder if the humour just went over most peoples heads or if the stuff that stuck with them was the more thrillery aspects of the show.

It's a bizarre thing, because it's both, but it just never combines the two.

Just like real life. Sometimes it's tense and serious, sometimes it's just goofy and fun. Rarely both.
I finally got around to seeing Fire Walk With Me the other night since I just got the Blu-Ray set (not the 10-disc one, the 9-disc one).
Not sure why it got so many bad reviews on release, it's really good. Did people just not know what to expect from Twin Peaks?
I suppose if so many scenes weren't cut out it would have been a little easier to follow and digest, but the sheer nature of it all and how all over the place and manic it is kind of just add to the experience.
I do think the movie would have benefited by using the original "Missing Pieces" extended version of the Jeffries sequence [sp]but that's just my rabid unhealthy obsession with David Bowie talking[/sp].
So yeah, really enjoyed it and now I'm going to have to rewatch the entire series. Might as well get that pot of coffee going and just binge watch Season 1.

iirc FWWM got bad reviews because a lot of the people who saw it hadnt seen the show before hand, or expected something very close to the show. I loved fwwm but tbh if id seen it before twin peaks id probably have been left incredibly confused.
