James and Laura are together in most of the pictures. Anyone else thinking James died/was murdered and is in the waiting room with Laura and Coop? EDIT: James' actor said James had an important role in the new series, and in one picture he's holding an Owl. I definitely think there's something up there.
Ooooh, that'd be interesting. I figured he was just going to be the new leader of the Bookhouse Boys.

Was anyone around when the show originally aired on abc? I'm trying to figure out what tv rating it had during its run, but I'm getting conflicting results everywhere. iTunes has it rated as tv-pg, TV Guide has it rated as tv-14, and Netflix has it rated as tv-ma. I can't seem to find an actual answer anywhere.
iMDB has it listed as TV-MA and the BBFC has it listed as a 15 which is the closest UK equivalent to the American rating.
I'm pretty sure episodes of the same show can vary greatly on TV ratings, so it might be possible that some episodes got higher ratings than others.
I'm looking forward to seeing James again. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/9P0IHjZ.png[/thumb]
just one month left fam
THREE WEEKS. here's a new trailer.
That's it, I'm not watching anymore teaser trailers. This is all I needed.
So I tried watching Twin Peaks 2 times - both times couldn't get into it. I'm going to try it for the third time - why? I like Lynch's film work. Mulholland Drive is my favorite film of all time, I have a weird relationship with Lost Highway; Eraserhead I consider interesting - but Twin Peaks I just do not get. I've seen 4 episodes and it seems characters are weird for weird's sake. Even though the cinematography is gorgeous and acting really is top notch, something about the direction seems strange and stilted (mostly static camerawork doesn't help). I can't care about the drama because the characters seem so surreal - I can see the show itself cares about it, but I just can't bring myself. I guess the weird stuff in the show is supposed to be kind of "hyper-realistic", but it just comes off as aloof. Has anybody who ended up loving the show had the same problems?
the meatiest teaser trailer so far (although it's still just a collection of short context-less clips). one of my biggest questions about this season is if the tone will be closer to the show or FWWM and this trailer suggests the latter. but it's just a trailer so we'll see. This is coming out in a few days and we've basically seen nothing
This is coming out in a few days and we've basically seen nothing
I'd rather have a few good teasers than trailers with (even non-spoilery) plot.
Well I just finished the final episode of the original series. [sp]:([/sp] [sp]:( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :([/sp]
At least the ending is only leaving you hanging for a few days, not a few decades...
At least the ending is only leaving you hanging for a few days, not a few decades...
The first season is as old as i am. I can't imagine the fact that people had to wait almost the same amount of time I've even existed for a conclusion, not thinking that they'd even get one.
Anyone know if they're going to take the series off Netflix when the new season airs?
Anyone know if they're going to take the series off Netflix when the new season airs?
Why would they do that?
It's sad to think of all the people who were hoping for a conclusion back when it got cancelled and have now died or something.

I'm so excited, but at the same time sad, since I won't be able to nab a showtime subscription. I'll probably grab a showtime free 7 day trial, but no clue if I should get it when the first episode comes out, or to try and wait until a number of episodes are out then going back to watch, since I don't want to be spoiled.
So I've been sort of watching the show off and on for the past week thinking I had more time until it returned, but I just found out that it comes back tomorrow. I'm on episode 4. Fug.
tonight's the night folks just got a showtime subscription through amazon which offers livestreams of the showtime feeds so i'm ready gonna rewatch FWWM real quick right now too
is there any way i can see the revival outside the US? either prime or showtime (or neither) is not available in my country. [editline]21st May 2017[/editline] and i mean like, i have to fucking see it, if you get what i mean...
On episode 10 of s2. Probably gonna have to skip ahead so i can move forward to the finale before tonight.
Just finished the finale after a few day binge of the entire show with a friend who hadn't seen it before, not sure if I should do an amazon free showtime trial to watch it when it airs, or if I should wait until tomorrow so I'll be able to see two episodes with the 7 day trial, any input is welcome. Edit: Well never mind, need prime to get the showtime trial, and I already used my prime trial before, so I guess no Twin Peaks for me.
Just finished the finale after a few day binge of the entire show with a friend who hadn't seen it before.
I have many questions.
episodes 1 and 2 are airing tonight episodes 3 and 4 will be available immediately on showtime's website, which you can access using your amazon account next week they'll just be airing episodes 3 and 4 on TV. after that we get one episode a week
So basically, even if we watch 3 and 4, we only have to wait an extra week for ep 5? That's groovy
Okay, got a free 30 day trial off of the showtime website itself, so I can watch the live stream there, crisis averted. Excited to see where this season takes us.
