Vince is hands off with Smackdown, for the most part. The decline in quality recently is speculated to be because of Road Dogg being promoted to head of creative. And I dunno about Steph, she doesn't [I]actually [/I]do anything regarding talent, booking, writing etc etc. She's a kayfabe figure like Daniel and Shane. Her actual job is media and being an ambassador of sorts to spread WWE(shit like Conors Cure, Susan G etc).
But to your original point, yea I think everyone would like to see Vince go. Best case scenario is Haitch taking the spot and turning "sports entertainment" back into wrestling. The work he's done with NXT really makes me wish that happens.
I don't think the 'good ol days' are coming back, at least not in the style of what's going on mexico and japan and the uk.
I think it would get a lot better and there might be more, ya know [I]wrestling[/I] happening and less crap like what happened to Rusev and Lana, but I don't think there's gonna be some kind of sea change when if ever Vince leaves.

I'm amazing WWE managed to make AJ vs Nakamura underwhelming. Probably had more to do with the crowd being tired and AJ's apparent injury, but still. It wasn't anything close to their Wrestle Kingdom match.

this years draft was totally one sided in favour of smackdown, raw's got next to nothing worth watching anymore and everything they did have is all sorted out or not going anywhere.

if they're defending p much all the titles on the show then it probably isn't a title shot, so yeah I have no idea what theyre planning to give the winner
Actually McMayorMcCheese puts that many titles on the line, usually storylines don't advance, this is really just the mother of all one shot works for a "new" audience. Some things will happen, prolly with Mahal and a couple of others, but I woudn't expect anything too permanent out of it.
