WWE and NJPW will always be the big promotions, but having smaller alternate promotions is great too for both the fans and the wrestlers.
One promotion in particular that I would highly recommend is Lucha Underground, matches like Johnny Mundo vs Prince Puma are classics.

Can't recommend LU enough. While it is difficult to watch, even for US residents, they put every ep on iTunes and put their best matches free of charge(in full 1080p) onto the El Rey youtube channel.

Here's a trick I use to bypass the country restriction for those of you who can't watch these on Youtube like me:
Remove the ([url]https://www[/url].) and replace it with (ss), so for example (ssyoutube.com/watch?v=KpOPHiSn5yI). This will open up a website that will allow you to download the video, completely bypassing the country restriction.
You'll have to download the video, but it's definitely worth it for Lucha Underground.
