WWE acknowledges NJPW regularly tho. It's not like TNA where they only acknowledge the promotion in extreme circumstances.

In an official capacity or on air, I don't think ever.
Another thing to note it wasn't just Rollins casually name dropping Omega. The headline on the site straight up named Kenny Omega. Another thing to note, Gallows n Anderson straight up say Bulletclub(which NJPW owns) and name drop Tonga n Fale.
The whole thing is fuckin bizarre and I can't help but keep these legendary words in the back of my mind when approaching the whole thing.

Omega did a Q&A. Here's some stand out bits

People need to accept the fact that Kenny isn't showing up at the Rumble.
Yeah it's very unlikely at this point, even if he does have plans in WWE for the future his current contract really makes it difficult for him to appear at the Rumble.
Omega interview is up with Dave and Bryan, listening now.
He's playing up the "nerves" and how he didn't know what he would decide.
"It sucks I even have to announce there is a decision because people will be disappointed either way" (I'm paraphrasing.)
