What the hell. Isn't Covenant like... THE beginning story of Alien? Isn't it the very first team that finds it? What will they find in Awakening? The very, VERY first Alien for real that time?
And why prequels all the time? Give me some highly advanced future title.
Are James Cameron and Ridley Scott competing or something? Next they'll crossover Alien and Avatar.

Probably so they can rehash the idea of a team going in with no idea what to expect and make the same stupid mistakes they've always been making.
Move over James Cameron, Ridley Scott has just announced he's planning FOUR more Aliens movies

o boy a midquel to the two prequels one of which doesn't even have the name Alien in it. yes lets make this timeline even more of a mess
At least me pretending that Alien is a trilogy means that i don't have to pay attention to any of these.

Ridley Scott is one crazy mother, I love the guy. He tends to get hilariously sidetracked in interviews. He has a brilliant mind but it's usually on another planet. For what it's worth he's already changed his mind about where he's taking the franchise numerous times. He's looking good for his age but will he really direct four more sequels throughout his 80s?
Maybe it's all a jab at James Cameron for criticising Alien sequels then announcing several Avatar sequels that no-one cares about now.

Remaining cautiously optimistic.
Emphasis on the "cautiously". Can't really say I'm all that optimistic, though.
Futura strikes again!
Trailer #2 for Transformers: The Last Knight.

The kid extras are fucking cringe! Did George Lucas write their dialogue?
Is it just me or do the visual effects in these movies get worse with each release?
Is it just me or do the visual effects in these movies get worse with each release?
I think its just the design choices and the camera filter they're using. I still question why it was a great idea to make the Autobots look like giant humans wearing armor than robots that turn into vehicles and the Decepticons snarling beats and demons. Heck, Barricade and the new guys look like they turn into something.
I don't know if fan-made trailers are allowed, but someone made a mash-up of the previous trailers and cut out the cringe for the good stuff. Generic music choice though.

People have been speculating since it was first announced but Nolan's war movie Dunkirk is now confirmed to be rated PG13 http://www.filmratings.com/search.html?filmTitle=dunkirk&x=0&y=0 there will never be another R rated Nolan film
A PG-13 movie about World War Two.
As winning a combination as cake and rusty nails.
There's this dumb mentality that pg13 will bring in more cash. Marvel loves to dumb down their films for the kids.

But they typically do bring in more money.
you don't need blood/gore to make a good war movie tbh
I can't name one war film off the top of my head that blew me away that wasn't rated R. Really crossing my fingers for this one, Nolan.
I can't even name a PG-13 war movie off the top of my head
Not an intense amount, but if it takes place on the battlefield, there should be quite a lot of violence, not to mention profanity. You wouldn't hear someone go "oh damn" when they just saw their friend get his fucking brains blown out.
These are 40's brits we're talking about, pip pip cheerio and all that

"Oh, biscuits and tea!"
Paths of Glory isn't rated but I'd assume it'd be PG-13 if it was. I think Dunkirk will feel like Paths of Glory in tone, only set in WW2 obviously.
Nonetheless, I'm not that hyped about Dunkirk. The trailer doesn't really pull me that much.
I can't even name a PG-13 war movie off the top of my head
War Horse?
War Horse?
Forgot about that one. After doing a quick google search, most of the PG-13 war movies they listed were forgettable or bad, barring that and Memphis Belle. While they aren't particularly grim, they don't shy away from the brutality of war, such as gas attacks and kids being murdered in War Horse, and corpses falling out of planes and smashing against the windshields in Memphis Belle
So Isabella "Groan-er" left a bad taste in the trailer, so let's have CGI motion posters instead. We now have a confirmed final look of Movie Hot Rod, Barricade's now look, and the mysterious Cogman! In perspective these are the ones the movie's gonna focus on which is why Onslaught and Decepticon Nitro don't get one. TBH I kinda want the Megatron or Prime as gif avatars if I were to get gold. We also confirm Sir Anthony Hopkin's role in the film. Motion posters in the link.
Cogman is described as a “centuries-old man servant who happens to have anger issues, among other things.” If you couldn’t tell by his knightly demeanor, he’s also the sidekick to Sir Edmund Burton (played by Sir Anthony Hopkins), an English lord who seems to have an idea of why the Transformers keep coming to earth.
I hate how DC tries to force their way with their movies instead of doing some planning like Marvel.
Marvel has their issues but at least they planned their stuff years in advance.

I want to believe that these won't suck, but I guess that's wishful thinking.
