Does anyone else think Keanu sounds a little strange? Like he's trying to make his voice deeper like Liam Neeson's? Weird. Anyhow, despite the mindlessness, the action at least looks good. For example, 2:00 to 2:05.

It's his first time directing so probably everything except the action scenes is gonna be awful. I don't think I've ever heard of an actor hiring his stunt double to direct him in a movie before. I wonder if he was just desperate to get the movie made or something.

I'm surprised Keanu didn't direct it himself, if that were the case.

Gus Van Sant has a strange career. One minute he'll make Good Will Hunting, and then the Psycho remake. After every good film comes a shitty one. In this case, Death Note is coming after this movie, so chances are it's not going to be terrible.
