Didn't you once say Mad Max: Fury Road was subpar because it had too much of Furiosa ?

Didn't you once call Jim Sterling a greedy "fat cunt" who's only after youtube ad revenue even though he makes no ad revenue off of Youtube ?
Yes to first but not solely because it featured a woman - but because the women were poorly written and 2 dimensional. i would have liked a lot more focus on max considering he's the title of the film i don't think that's that weird.
Yes to second because he is. jim sucks. that's also not a movie lol
Remember that thread you derailed because you like to generalize a fanbase of a game you dont like? I think there was a video made about it.
undertale is a shitty meme game with a bad fanbase. and also isn't a movie
[editline]3rd April 2017[/editline]
i was also 100% looking for a reaction with that post lol

Maybe Rusty is notorious because he has 65000 posts so he has high visibility???
its more like 100k when you factor in the archival, yikes
I'm more insulted that Boss Baby might make money over Ghost in the Shell honestly.
From what I've seen, that movie looks absolutely wretched. I really don't want that monstrosity to do well.
i keep trying to tell you all
chris stuckmann is insanely stupid. like, he is completely dumb.
The majority of time when you "criticize" something or someone you always end up saying it in the most stupid and most immature way possible. I always have such a hard time to either take you serious or to even agree when you actually say something agreeable because of the way you word it. How do you expect to be taken serious if you word everything like a 5th grader.
I like Stuckmann because he comes off as a normal guy who enjoys movies and I agree with the majority of his opinions and criticism in movies. Not with all, of course. This GITS review was kinda off, even for him but if he enjoyed it, well, some opinions simply differ. One review or a few in a couple hundreds do not take off someone's entire credibility.
And to not be completely off-topic.

That trailer looks just as bad as the first.
But who doesn't want to see Tom Cruise be eaten alive by rats?

It's in it's early stages, but it is described as a "passion project" for Scott.

Give Stuckmann credit, he saw nothing special in The Boss Baby. He ended up not liking it, in which I can agree with him.
it's because he's not a critical thinking person. how is that not very clear
He still gave it a C, though.
He's waaaaaaaay too easy on movies that just don't care.
I think he gave it a C because the CGI was great despite the material and its generally harmless for a family film. For a company that made Shrek this wasn't a breakthrough. Something like Norm of the North was just an ugly mess through and through with crap visuals, crap story, and crap acting.
it's because he's not a critical thinking person. how is that not very clear
I'd say his movie analyses can show that he's capable of critical thought. He's usually only off the mark when it comes to the marvel movies that he always gives a B or above to, but I disregard all reviews for marvel movies anyway
name one that isnt lord of the rings or strangelove
[editline]3rd April 2017[/editline]
is there someone out there pretending to be me purposefully spouting a bunch of bad opinions or something or are people just imagining a completely different me to be able to justify their animosity
Actually he does have other credible works other than the LotR and Hobbit franchises, even though those
are the main ones that everyone knows of. I've watched the movies: Frighteners which I believe is a great
movie directed by him, King Kong, of course not the 1933 version but a very well done remake of the film,
Heavenly Creatures, an amazing film both written and directed by him and nominated for best screenplay,
Meet the Feebles, a relatively unknown yet great movie directed by Jackson revolving around a dark and
vulgar muppet like show and what happens backstage, and finally Dead Alive, Jackson's most famous cult
classic film with over the top gore and humor. Now of course Jackson nowadays sticks with LotR movies,
he's had a credible list of movies that shows he could actually do more than what he's mainly known for
today, and let's be honest he's definitely not like Uwe Boll, the grandmaster of movie frauds.

I've actually seen this it was so odd and uncomfortable I haven't gone back to it. Very morbid and strange, I think it's intended though
Dead Alive I know is supposed to be good but never got around to it
I don't think anyone will dispute the greatness that is Dead Alive
Dead Alive I know is supposed to be good but never got around to it
*Braindead
I don't think anyone will dispute the greatness that is Dead Alive
yeah dead alive/braindead is good, but i reckon that was his last good film

Except for his analysis on Stay. Different opinions and all but that movie isn't nearly as deep, clever or thoughtful as he thinks it is.
yeah dead alive/braindead is good, but i reckon that was his last good film
I enjoyed Frighteners.

tbh though, although I disagree with you on some stuff Rusty, I don't remember you banning people who disagreed with you so I still give you some respect.

Said the same about Prometheus, though he is batting much higher on 'biopics' than fiction lately.
For those who still care, but movie news is movie news.
So there was a 30 minute fan-footage event going on in certain states. For those lucky to go on a school night could watch 15 minutes worth of Behind the scenes footage of TF5 while the last 15 are footage from the film itself.
Spoilers, but its a Bay film.
From the press release It's all mostly unfinished and out of sequence CGI scenes though with the only notable spoilers being perhaps the "kickass part" starting [sp]with the knights of the round table fighting other knights/barbarians and the three heading dragon transformer Dragonstorm(figure name) gets summoned by Merlin.[/sp] This might be the opening to the film. [sp]Then the knights of the round table gather at a castle with each one appointed a Transformer. One of them is very familiar...
Megaton gets a small scene, but doesn't talk...yet.[/sp] It's rumored that the footage will be released online sometime soon.
We also have this LQ render of Optimus and Megatron. I pray this means they get a kickass fight. My ticket money is banking on this moment.

It's going to be shit like the other movies after the first transformers
Speaking of, Michael Bay says there are 14 transformers story ideas outlined for possible future films. dang they must've gone through a lot of crayons writing those up.
I hope they fuck and end up having babies in the ending
That would make the movie slightly interesting and Hollywood can't be that interesting.
Even the first Transformers is trash
At least it wasn't aggressively trash like the sequels.
I remember liking the first movie but I haven't seen it since it was released. The second one I remember hating on the first watch, though.
Aside from the second which gets annoying I find it a guilty pleasure trash of mine. As I see the complex as hell CGI, which I find it as the attracting thing of these movies, I can just imagine the render farms catching fire and it's just...goooood
Honestly as a fan of the franchise outside of the movies I found it hard to outright hate them, but I do have my own thoughts; TF1 was great. It was amazing to see my favorite characters in live action on the big screen. I hated TF2 with the one exception with the fight in the forest. TF3 was boring with little robot screen time and I found it annoying that the humans can kill Transformers now. I thought TF4 was on par with TF2 on how much it was bad. Not to mention they completely butchered Optimus Prime's character as this crazed killer who threatens people to join the cause. He's supposed to be like if Lincoln and John Wayne had a robot love-child that turned into a 18-wheeler.

:stop:.
They had planned a trilogy after the 4th one. I know that this is an announcement, but I don't think I have the stomach for 14 more Bayformers movies. Unless these stories are based on the IDW comics, THAT I can get behind.
The Transformers films just feel the same, especially with Michael Bay at the helm.
Shame Shia will never come back to big budget Hollywood since he did fit the role perfectly.
Funny you should mention that, The Witwicky's from the previous movies get a big mention in the Fan Event film reel. That's all I'm gonna say until they decide to release the reel online. Or wait until the next trailer, they tend to spoil everything.
Here was the featurette that was shown during the fan event.

Artist Jeff Simpson posted on his Facebook page some concept art from Ghost in the Shell. While he's forgotten the year he drew them it was from when Margot Robbie was in talks to play Major.

Seems neat, although I can't help but think it will end up being a bland thriller
