The Dark Tower looks like it could be entertaining at the very least. I'll always be disappointed that we aren't getting a true adaptation, though. Especially since the trailer seems to have made it a lot more cliche.

This is so silly and not at all scary, a terrible idea for renewing the franchise. May not be prime for a film, but reverse engineering the xenomorph into a human tool sounds interesting.

Given the way it's credited, it was probably drafted by Goldsman and Pinkner separately back when Ron Howard was interested in directing with rewrites done by Jensen and Arcel. Either way, Goldsman's script was probably not the one they shot.

The premiere night for Transformers: The Last Knight was changed from the 23rd to the 21st. Guess the CGI didn't take long to polish or something. Plus we get a new poster with Bee's new hammer. I hope it has Megatron speaking; I want to confirm Frank Welker will be in it. Frank Welker as Megatron will make anything written by Goldsman sound like Oscar bait. This is why I think this fandom's the worst; we assume a director is a pedo for putting a teen in a starring role next to Mark Walberg.

God damnit. If somebody compares it to [sp]Friday the 13th[/sp], things are not looking good. I just want a modern good Alien movie. It seems to boil down to the same formula again. At least Blomkamp's cut Alien movie had balls to try new things. I don't need a slasher Alien movie. I want a suspenseful Science-Fiction horror movie with Aliens in it.

It's not exactly Scotts fault but I wish writers would stop writing characters to make so many bad decisions. It's almost like we don't get intelligent characters anymore. And in the end the director tries his best to salvage what's possible. But it really seems like Covenant is just a Alien slasher flick.

All i wanted from the Alien series was monster movies and now I'm stuck with movies that want to try and appear deep by bringing up god and the meaning of life.
