It's going to be bad and we all know it. The music is the best aspect of these movies and I hope Jablonsky delivers again. His scores for 1, 3 and 4 were really good.

Actually Starship Trooper Invasion was probably the best "Sequel" despite not too much like the original movie

I don't want to shit on stuff in which I don't know much about (VFX) but the effects look like they were made for a fan film rather than a paid production.

Other than something rare like Oldboy or Battle Royale.

For some reason, Japanese films have [I]terrible[/I] CG across the board, even in movies with high budgets.

Shin Godzilla had some okay CGI here and there.

Can't japanese studios kind of... cooperate with an international VFX company? Like, they do everything else while the effects get made at ILM for example. I remember Iron Man 3 being done by like 17 VFX companies cooperating with each other.
