Bayona who is responsible for A Monster Calls, The Impossible and The Orphanage, three well-received movies. He also describes the movie as being much darker and more scarier than JW and even calls it a "spanish horror-thriller". With a much more experienced horror director like him at the helm compared to Trevorrow, I really doubt it's going to have such a inconsistent tone like Jurassic World and will have a lot more build ups and more suspense because Trevorrow didn't know how to achieve this in JW. The biggest downside so far for this movie is that it's still written by Trevorrow so I hope that he took the criticism towards the script of JW to his heart and made a better script. edit: [media]https://twitter.com/chrislikesdinos/status/937484629619113984[/media]

Not excited over that news. I left Covenant with a literal headache, on top of being confused and dissapointed.

The whole point of Alien is that it's a series of monster movies in space. If Prometheus and Covenant weren't attached to the Alien franchise, they'd be fantastic. The connection is the thing holding it down.

They filmed it here in Malta, and a lot of my friends are extras, so that's why I'm interested in seeing it! Also, it sounds like it could be a good thrill ride. Also, you might have read news a few months ago about a plane hijacking that happened close to the set of a film about a plane hijacking. Well, this is the one!

There's already been three movies made about it but them being from the 70s and two being made for TV movies meant that they really didn't do the crazy cool operation real justice.
