I cringed a bit when I realized that letter is written to mimic Dr. Manhattan's monologue and I hate the fact that the show is going to be in a contemporary setting loaded with modern political commentary. Expectations are low... as usual.

Shaken, not Stirred: Bond 25 begins production with Danny Boyle directing, co-writing with John Hodge. Purvis and Wade's script has been canned and thank fuck, they're hacks. The single Bond movie they wrote by themselves is literally the worst one and the only reason the other ones are any good is because they were polished up by Bruce Feirstein, Paul Haggis and John Logan.
I am extremely pleased Boyle got the job. I'm actually interested in a Bond film again.
Sounds p decent. Can we get a new Bond after this though? I like Craig, but it's just been too fucking long since we had a different Bond.
I'm going to be honest, maybe like, two scenes out of all of Spectre actually stuck with me
This is definitely going to be Craig's last time in the role. His contract was for five films, and I get the impression he really doesn't want to end it all on the low note that was Spectre. Which rarely happens with Bond actors anyway. Diamonds are Forever sucked, which really bites for Sean Connery since his original final film, You Only Live Twice, was pretty damn good, Moore was getting old for the role but stuck it out for Octopussy and A View To A Kill, neither of which were any good, and Brosnan quit after the atrocious Die Another Day.
First 2 posters for In-Rang, the Korean live-action remake of Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade. Directed by Kim Jee-woon, who directed A Tale of Two Sisters, The Good, the Bad, the Weird, I Saw the Devil. https://imgur.com/gallery/vVBtVnF
Zack Snyder laughed: He stood naked over the board of Warner Brothers. The past failures of Sucker Punch, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, Justice League et al were all behind him. Now he will do a new adaptation. The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. He knew the days ahead would be difficult. There were questions to be faced and a plan of action to be prepared. He knew that he should think about it. He knew also that he would not think, because everything was so clear to him already, because the plan had been set long ago and because he wanted to laugh.
Man of Steel was kinda alright.

The Slenderman movie has lost its backing from Sony.  Sony sees the film as a low-budget, Blumhouse-style release, according to two insiders, while the producers have more confidence in the movie and are pushing for the picture to unspool across more screens. They also want a bigger marketing push, which will cost more money than Sony is willing to spend. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Sony's making the right call on that turd.
I'm free! I'm free! Transformers 6 has been removed from Paramounts 2019 schedule and no movies planned after the Bumblebee Movie. “In addition, the Melrose lot has undated Transformers 7 from its previous date of June 28, 2019. In its place, Paramount will release the Tiffany Haddish comedy Limited Partners on that date. Paramount had hatched a writers room led by Akiva Goldsman to hammer out future iterations of Transformers movies. The spinoff Bumblebee, whose clips were well received at CinemaCon, comes out on Dececmber 21 directed by Travis Knight. Michael Bay has hinted that Transformers: The Last Knight was his final stint in the director’s chair for a Transformers movie. Transformers 7 was put in as a placeholder on the calendar years ago, and the studio is rebooting the entire franchise in the direction of Bumblebee.” Hasbro explains the future of the Transformers movies in general. Question: What is it about the existing direction that is most needed to be re-framed, so to speak? Answer: Look, I think what you’re going to see in the movie, which I’m thrilled about, we’ve already done some early testing around the movie, is the heart and humanity that comes back to the Autobots, in this in this case through Bumblebee who is one of the most beloved characters by both fans and kids around the world and you get a bit of a peak at his origin story. There’s a great relationship that exists between him and our star Hailee Steinfeld. It gives us a chance to hearken back a bit to that first Transformers film that we all love; the awe inspiring nature of the boy and his car. The car’s turns out to be a robot involved in an alien war. It was a kind of a fun premise and we want to get back to that heart, humor and humanity. And we think we have a way to do that with this film. And I think that over time as films continue to build on themselves, you get a lot of action but you also want to make sure that you’re developing characters and story alongside of that and that’s what this intends to do. Question: Is ‘Reboot’ the correct term? Answer: I don’t think it’s a reboot because it is an alternative; a different chronology. So, rather than going to a sequel from what people had seen last time, this takes place in the 1980s. It’s a really fun era, people love the music, they love that time and place, and it was a great place to put Bumblebee because for our fans, everyone knows that the Transformers were originally created in the mid-eighties, so it gives you a chance to hearken back to the things that people loved about the brand. And a chance to enjoy the brand, kind of from the beginning again. But I wouldn’t really consciously go into it saying “Let’s reboot the franchise”. There wasn’t any of that. We just felt that the story naturally came as a result of some of the work that we have done.”
no.
The sum it up: Bayformers = DONE. Bay is not slated to return and no more films are planned or are removed. Bayformers ends on a fucking cliffhanger. BB Movie = "Hopeful new direction far apart from the other films." Knowing Hasbro if it wins we could get something of worth. If not, time to go snip snip. New Bee trailer comes out June 4th. https://twitter.com/OnceNoticiasTV/status/1002253623613624321
https://twitter.com/TomCruise/status/1002062865971499008 Top Gun 2 has begun filming. It's being directed by Joseph Kosinski who directed Tron Legacy and Oblivion, so it should at least be a visual treat.
Under the Silver Lake's been delayed by six months. Reviews from Cannes have been mixed, mostly due to the fact that it has a lot of plot threads that go nowhere, so it's likely David Robert Mitchell is gonna tighten things up a bit
I just involuntarily groaned, we were within 3 fucking weeks of release.

https://pmcdeadline2.files.wordpress.com/2018/06/lg2-t1-01053.jpg?w=892 Turns out the movie's villains will be those minidolls from the Friends line. Space Fairy minidolls, from the looks of it.
if you look at the poster you'll see everybody minus emmett has gone through a few changes, such as benny having a mechanical arm now.
Hopefully, her role won't be as bad as Catwoman.
