Jamie Lee looks great too.
I remember that book; pretty interesting and kinda depressing. The sequels were arse though.
After watching the Bumblebee Movie Trailer I was filled with hopes and dreams of a damn good hard reboot to make the movie franchise great. Then I see Mortal Engines trailer and I just know the box office competition is going to be either equal or one destroys the other.

aka the Bradley Cooper Vanity Project
Maybe it's just the trailer, but it's like they totally missed the point of A Star is Born.

Not sure how I feel about this.
The director is pretty good. Hard to tell really. I'm a sucker for these movies, so I'll probably watch it and enjoy it but I don't think anyone should fool themselves into thinking it's going to be a amasterpiece.

Couldn't find a source other than Facebook but uhh, this is a thing.
James Wan is producing an Arachnophobia remake.
aka the best movie Joe Dante never made.
Which seems like a dumb move since it's not a straight up horror movie, closer in tone to something like Tremors if anything. Wan being involved makes me think they're going to do a straight up horror film, which might work, but it probably won't be anywhere near as fun.
ugh yeah making it as a straight-up horror film just misses the point entirely. granted it's been years since I saw it but I feel like the movie was practically making fun of the "killer animals" genre with how silly or over-the-top it did stuff. Plus you just can't replace John Goodman.

Bumblebee Director Featurette. They really want to head into a new direction for the movie franchise and I think Travis Knight will pull it off.
Until the Producer shows up and everyone clenches their butt-cheeks.

Waitaminute, He fucking blew up in that plane with the toxic bombs while flying. How did he make it?
if they do it like any other story that portrayed him in being in both the distant past and modern times, it'll most likely be steve trevor's grandson, aptly named steve trevor jr.
or they can just call him the summer soldier.
To be less on the nose, perhaps The Sunshine Patriot?
two armed noncyborg guy
