Looks like how a Spooks movie would look, really.

I'm in love with Jake Gyllenhaal's acting right now so obviously I'll watch everything, but this looks baitey. Like, it's this "token sports drama that's about overcoming personal weaknesses" that every serious actor has in their career. Looks okay, nothing more about that.
Based on JK Rowling's book

How the fuck this is the first time I'm hearing about this - a classic, R-rated western starring Michael Fassbender, Ben Mendelsohn and Rory McCann called Slow West has premiered on Sundance and currently holds 8.5 on IMDb (means shit, I know but also 100% on RT

Damn, for me an absolute must watch. Resurrection of the western genre, please let it be this time.
I really yearn for a resurrection of the western genre.
However is it just me or does the lighting look super off?
More like they have increased the saturation a bit.
Looks good but it's only 80 min long so I hope it isnt too fast paced.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was an intentional homage to the Technicolor era where films were oversaturated to make them look more lively.
Actually not only the colors but also settings and camera shots remind me "stage-like appearence" popularized by Wes Anderson films. Which is a good thing, because it's a fresh look in grey, shaky cam Hollywood reality.
Yea the film looks very John Ford-- p cool
"In regards to the proposed 2016 Toho Godzilla film, Hideaki Anno, known for his work on the popular anime Neon Genesis Evangelion would be directing the film. Shinji Higuchi, longtime SFX director on the Heisei Gamera Trilogy and the upcoming Attack On Titan movie is also confirmed to be assisting in the creation of the new iteration of Godzilla."
so gareth edwards is out then? oh well, at least they aren't going for someone of lesser quality.
I think he's still doing the next American film, but the Japanese are making their own.
oh right i forgot about that

Basically Toho saw the success of the 2014 film and said "Fuck it we're doing our own"
[editline]1st April 2015[/editline]
Essentially this is what happened:
1998:
- Movie bombed hard, so Toho says "we're making our own to reinvigorate the series"
2014:
- Movie met with success, so Toho says "we're making our own to bring the fame back to us"

Well, at least he's up front and honest about it.
A based on true story thriller with James Franco and Jonah Hill in their seriousness? It sounds weird at first, but the trailer is pretty convincing, I think I want to see this film (as long as it doesn't turn into another Law Abiding Citizen or other crap.)

eddie redmayne is the front consideration for newt scamander in the fantastic beasts and where to find them trilogy
which makes me wonder why the hell an encyclopedia is being turned into a trilogy again
it's not. JK Rowling wrote an original screenplay about the life of the guy that wrote the encyclopedia.

This looks like a bigger clusterfuck than Salvation. And I see they keep up with the tradition of spoiling the twist in the middle of the trailer.
That would have been so cool to see in theaters as a surprise, but no, they just had to spoil the whole goddamn thing.
