wtf even is this even
Wow, what, why the hell?
No trailers up until this point hint at John Connor playing any other role than future segments, then this. It would have been such an interesting twist going in not know it. What the fuck? I know a lot of trailers show a lot these days (as did Salvation when it show Sam Worthington was a Terminator) but god damn that is just bad.
[QUOTE=usaokay;47520932]did you not see Rocky IV?

Well since they spoiled everything in the trailer, i can just review it here.
2/10, worst Terminator film. Potentially one of the worst films of 2015.

It's like watching movie without watching the movie. What the fuck is wrong with trailers these days?
sucks to be you guys, i ain't watching shit so the twist will be fresh for me. not that i'm going to see it in theaters but i won't have it ruined by a trailer.

For what it's worth, if Salvation was any indicator I can bet the twist will be foreshadowed six times and heavily implied twice as many before the actual reveal.
Besides, the mere knowledge that there's any twist partially ruins it.

the premise itself is a twist, not surprising to me. plus i don't know when it will happen in the movie.

Anytime I see anything new Star Wars I always smile. I can't wait for December.
I'm cautiously optimistic about this. Feels confident about what it is doing. More in the vain of new X-Men rather than TASM. Might be quite good.

it's got some of the same staff from dofp, and if reports are correct they're supposed to be in the same universe.
Adapting unadaptable - Le petit Prince.

Let's hope they stick to the classic children's book
I don't see why the little girl and her over expectant mother were even needed for the little prince
it should've just been the stopmotion (?) part and thats it

i was actually hoping for a dark and gritty reboot where we meet the mercenary "prince" who must fight off a space pirate named "fox" and protect the rose, which is the codename of a small planet's power source that fox will stop at nothing to steal and sell on the black market

If they pull the Alien Franchise shtick of remaking the same movie over and over with the EXACT same plot points I will be so angry; Alien, Aliens, Prometheus all do pretty much the same things. . Blade Runner is so amazing as a stand-alone movie, and it doesn't really need any expansion or anything. If they repeat the whole "Replicant" or not thing it would be so dumb.

Because it's supposed to appeal not only to fans and readers of the classic novel but also to people unfamiliar with the content (yes, such people exists). The book itself is too metaphoric and impossible to portray correctly in a big budget film. What we get is hopefully the best of two worlds.
I'll just drop this here.

What an accurate representation of Johnny Depp's career
