one of the most baffling accounts i have encountered on this site
That fucking mustache. Loving that already.
Kurt Russell has turned into Jeff Bridges.
kurt russell returns next summer as rooster in true grit 2: back to waco
That mustache deserves it's own credit.
We can call Tarantino a hack or a thief but the truth is I've never been unentertained while watching his films. Even his weakest were fun, and worth giving a couple of watches. i want a real trailer
Why is he a thief
Tarantino blatantly borrows from so many people but he's neither a thief or a hack imo-- he takes homage and tribute to a whole new level. He escalates the concept above what it is to be more than the sum of its parts imo, the stuff he borrows, even the stuff he copies, becomes totally his own. I mean, Tarantino is one of the most recognisable directors working in terms of style. You always know when you're watching a Tarantino film. He's not a rip-off artist.
I just love Tarantino films because no matter your opinion on the dude himself, they always have this charm to them that's just...so different from other movies
What sane person would call Tarantino a hack or a thief [editline]8th May 2015[/editline] Anyone who actually whines about his "borrowing" of film techniques without taking into consideration how well he uses them or how he's far from being the only one who does it is an idiot
kill bill is my favorite qt movie if you don't like it you suck.
Django Unchained for me.
I think I rewatched Kill Bill the most (especially Part II), but his best film is still Inglourious Basterds.
The premise of Hateful Eight is really similar to Key Largo, just throwing that out there.
When is Tarantino going to fix the title to just "Hateful Eight" rather than "The Hateful Eight?" Every single one of his movies besides this one are only two words long.
The premise of Hateful Eight is really similar to Key Largo, just throwing that out there.
Fuck yes, Key Largo was dope, one of the best of Bogey's films.
I don't remember anything about Inglorious Basterds other than the opening. I think it's time to rewatch.
Yes, definitely. It gets better on rewatches as well. I didn't even like it that much the first time I saw it and now it's arguably my favorite Tarantino film.
oddly the same happened to me when I watched Django for the first time. My reaction was "uhh...ok", then I watched it again immediately after and enjoyed the shit out of it. Weird.

my god that looks awful also i love how jimmy is becoming the pc poster boy/girl
I thought it was gonna be a cw production judging from the tone and the fact that every single character is an attractive 20-something year old. But hey Arrow and The Flash are both pretty good shows so Supergirl might be worthwhile despite the CW vibe right? Then I saw the CBS logo and my heart sank so low that Satan is probably repurposing it as a time capsule
http://collider.com/new-planet-of-the-apes-movie-title-revealed/ "War of the Planet of the Apes" sounds neat
I'm amazed at how well the apes reboot is turning out, I thought for sure it was gonna suck when I heard about it.
