that's my reason for it as well, jones is a great director. also, idk how many of you have played wow, but the cinematics were always my favorite part of it.
I think it has promise. The CGI doesn't look as out of place as it did in The Hobbit movies
The effects look worse than Avatar, which was released 6 years ago.
I understand they're still deep into post-production, but come on, this looks laughably bad.

It wasn't just the CGI that made the hobbit look so shit, it was the disgusting vaseline bloom filter over everything too. At least Warcraft is just the former.

They had many great ideas for the movies if you look into the artbooks. Phenomenal work. In the end it's always the directors decision of how it's going to look in the movie and I think Peter Jackson wanted this much bloom and CGI. This is also the reason why the Hulk in Ang Lee's Hulk is so green. The director wanted it to be this way while the effects company had a better look. With Jackson, he's become old and he also stated that he was more than enough tired with making LOTR. I think he just got lazy seeing how many things they replaced with CGI, like Dain and Azog.

No, basically jesus was an engineer and we killed him, so the jockeys wrote us off and also seeded everything around us with the aliems, so that pretty much anywhere we go, we're fucked unless we stay in the hell of our own devising (earth), david and shaw have really awkward headless sex, a jockey alien wrecks stuff and/or people, blasted out airlock, roll credits
