I'm actually a big fan of a lot of Tim Burton's work, he often has some really strong art direction and strange characters. This looks kinda bad though, it might be just the trailer with the repeating shots or whatever. I guess time will tell.

Tim Burton's X-Men.
Could be interesting, I usually like his bizarre style. Not sure how the acting might be or how cliche the plot might be.
maybe it's just me but that name sounds so bad. like something that would come out of a tim burton movie name generator, it's just so generic

It's actually the same as the name of the original novel.
which doesn't change how generic it sounds

i feel like he has the same art direction and same characters throughout most of his films though.

It probably doesn't help that he reuses a lot of the same actors as well.

he definitely does, his drawing skills haven't changed a bit since he did like frankenweenie, beetlejuice and vincent.
but shit, i'm interested in this movie alone for the danny elfman score. i went to a concert last summer that performed pretty much every theme from the movies they worked on, and elfman himself came out to sing nightmare before christmas, it was fan-fucking-tastic.
Looks way better than the first material they showed.

I still can't get over out silly putting real faces on that art style looks.
If the entire movie was CGI, it wouldn't look so odd.
Tarzan looks really good, but I think they spoiled way too much in the trailer.

I thought it's worth mentioning that Deadwood is finally returning with a movie.
Also David Milch is working on TV show based on the book Shadow Country starring Jeff Bridges.
Can't wait.

Point me where exactly In The Air Tonight plays in Tarzan.

I'd love to remain optimistic but Milch doesn't have the best reputation in Hollywood, he's known for his enormous debt and wasting his money for booze and gambling, so I'm questioning his motivation in these two projects.

I didn't like the lego movie
I didn't like the lego movie
It was better than anyone could've expected, but in reality nothing special that would warrant such excited reaction from general public.
Though LEGO Batman film might be dope, if they'll decide to full Batman, but in LEGO world.
Probably the movie I'm most hyped for this year. Shane Black is the man, Ryan Gosling has good comedic chops, and I like Russell Crowe, so yeah, very excited.
looks great, but trailer gives a bunch of shit away.

Yeah this is another case of me being sold on the first trailer. I don't need to see any more. I'll put it in the back of my mind until it's out.
He really likes to do buddy-cop movies
