I'm looking forward to it. The original that came out about 100 years ago is hilariously racist so it's good that a film of the same name is now showing the African American side of things.
Oscarbait or real genius worthy of all the Oscar nominations to come next year?

I was hoping it was a remake, now wouldn't that be something
That shot of the cotton fields(?) was lovely.
It has a very similar look to 12 years a slave.

Vinyls just got revealed, will be going up for preorders in the next couple weeks.
Vinyls tend to be a 1:1 accuracy for the figure, and now that I see it, I'm not...too salty. Just somewhat.
I'll lift my distrust for the film for the time being until we get more info.
In addition to the reveal is a magazine scan teasing a Movie Monster Series Godzilla 2016 as well as “Godzilla 2016 Kaiju A” and “Godzilla 2016 Kaiju B.”
"Kaiju A|B" are either some new monsters, or what I'd suppose, different poses of the Big G.
Nonetheless, fingers crossed.

also tiny arms
:snip:
like imo they should've gone with a different title though.
Jurassic World 2 has found its director: Juan Antonio Bayona
The guy has directed The Impossible, The Orphanage and a couple episodes of Penny Dreadful, none of which I've seen so I don't know if this is good news or not
I don't know if this is good news or not
I take "not" because, to be perfectly honest, Jurassic World was the epitome of "okay".
It had some really fun scenes, but the majority of it was fairly flat

Very good. A horror director like he could do a better job than Trevorrow. I hope it's using more practical effects this time.
don't worry, nobody does because Jurassic World was a flat and lifeless reboot
In other news, Mel Gibson is co-writing, directing and starring in a new TV series "Barbary Coast."
Kurt Russell and Kate Hudson also starring.

I should also point out it takes place during the Gold Rush, so we get Mad Max and Snake Plisken in a western. Cue hype train
Gotta love the comeback of westerns.

rita repulsa
this is a movie i can surely skip if they redesign such a simple costume to have nothing in common with its older appearances. nothing about that screams "ancient space witch" in the slightest bit.
Whys her face so clean but the rest of her looks like shes been rolling in dirt??
it is pretty over-the-top tho like the old was so I'll give them that
Still needs a giant chinese hat
Looks like an ancient space witch to me.
she looks more like a blood elf from wow
snip nvm

Have they shown the rangers themselves yet?

Looks like it could be super gimmicky, but it is really hard to argue with that cast (Pratt excepted)
Honestly I'd be shocked if that wasn't the case. He's the biggest star of them all right now
Once again Adam Sandler & friends get paid to go to exotic locations.

Oscar worthy.

It looks even cheaper than Ridiculous 6
Oh look, it's another film with Emily Blunt [sp]crying and gettin strangled[/sp]

During pre-production I thought it was directed by David Fincher (finishing his "Women in Crime trilogy"), but from the first seconds you can tell it's totally not him, so my hype slightly died.
Yeah, he wasn't doing The Girl on the Train, but he is doing Strangers on a Train if that eases your confusion
Yeah, he wasn't doing The Girl on the Train, but he is doing Strangers on a Train if that eases your confusion
Oh, right. I remembered it was something with trains, and this story was 100% his type, unlike Hitchcockian remake.
In less train related news, Nicholas Winding Refn will act as showrunner for Les Italiens, a noir about French/Italian cops working in Paris.
Shooting will begin once Refn's done with press for The Neon Demon and he's currently in talks with Netflix about picking it up
