Another money grub film
15 seconds in and I'm already bugged that they just filmed a shot with a newer L train and not one of the older ones that were more common around then.
If we want to do presidents, why not someone like Theodore Roosevelt? Why not Washington?
I really don't like it when its "BASED ON REAL LIFE EVEEEEEENTS" and the guy's still kicking.
Watch when it comes out, the Obamas admit that their first date was a walk around Wicker park to pick up cheap cigarettes
literally any other president would be a better movie than obama right now

In all honesty I agree with the sentiment that making biographies about living people is sort of wrong. Making a film about acting president, regardless of who they are, feels cheap even more.

sadly this is the day and age that we live in now. we got the bush movie in his last six months in office, and don't forget that the 9/11 movie only came out 5 years after the tragedy, and the benghazi movie 4 years after that.
it's almost like rule 34 but not porno.

There's a Benghazi movie now? What is it even about?

I think he refers to 13 Hours
yeah 13 hours, it's about the security team that was stationed there and were the only ones to do anything.
like, the shit is still being investigated with clinton's emails and bam! there's a movie about it.

Ok, seems interesting.

only one i can think that is done properly about someone still living is bronson
Ok, seems interesting.
It's a Michael Bay movie.
It's a Michael Bay movie.
despite that, it's a movie that's really right up his alley. american military? check. guns and explosions? check.
the flaws aren't the action (which was sub-par, despite being somewhat contained for a bay film and a bit more realistic than expected), it's that i didn't give a fuck at all when i watched it. yeah, i get that hillary clinton is a piece of shit and a liar, but that's old news and it's been that way for a long time, people are just realizing it now thanks to benghazi.

I don't want to get my hopes up, since it seems like these conversations have happened before, but if Dredd gets a series damn I'll be hyped.
Terrence Malick is making what he was always destined to make, a long drawn out visual spectacular about literally everything

Why do you have to spoil my mood

I remembered when Elle Fanning was playing kid roles like in super 8
Feels weird watching kid stars grown up
i remember when dakota fanning was like 7 or 8 and in that sean penn movie that jump-started her career.
i don't think elle was even born yet, or was like 4 at the oldest.

Johnny Depp may also cameo as The Invisible Man to help kick off Universal's Monster Squad franchise
So it's the second reboot for the Mummy franchise, jesus, gotta milk that Universal monster money

Gotta cash in on that superhero money somehow, and they own this stuff already. Not sure why you'd be surprised about it.

The last mummy reebot was in 1999... unless you're talking about a different one that I don't know about.

:v:
they look like bootleg toys
I don't have a problem with it, PR has always been ridiculous.
Waiting to see them in action. Kind of wish the helmets were more distinct to their megazords or whatever they were called.
Oh God, Pizza was writing that, cue to dozens of self-indulgent monologues proving that writer did indeed has read some classical philosophers with no understanding at all, and tautological dialogues spoken only in metaphors or backstories serving no purpose in character development at all.
fuck yeah, Chris Pratt!
