I thought Kong: Skull Island is the sequel to King Kong? Does this mean that there is another Kong there?
It's a reboot. It takes place during/around the Vietnam War. It is going to be tied into the Godzilla 2014 canon, leading up to a rematch between Kong and Godzilla. Rumor has it that the movie may involve Monarch, who were the secretive international society that tracked down Godzilla and other kaiju.
However, even if Kong is 100 feet tall, Godzilla is 312~ feet. It's going to be less "Godzilla vs. Kong" and more "Luchador vs 8 Year Old"

How the fuck could this Kong possibly fight Legendary's Godzilla?
How the fuck could this Kong possibly fight Legendary's Godzilla?
with a gun
with a gun
What if Godzilla has two guns? What then?
Rumors and fan theory say that Kong may have the support of the military as he could be "trained" or at the very least convinced that Godzilla would be a bigger threat than people.
Another Jack Reacher movie is coming.

I really enjoyed Jack Reacher and I like Cobie Smulders so that's kind of exciting. It just seems like another thing that didn't really need a sequel / kind of a stretch to continue the story. Like Taken.
I guess if there's more books, though, then go for it.

There's 20 of those books, it's a whole series about the guy going around and doing good deeds and stuff. The first movie was apparently an adaptation of the 9th book.
I loved the first jack reacher but this is by a different director. Tho he is the director of Blood Diamond which I also loved so fuck it I'll give it a chance.
The first Jack Reacharound was pretty good, although the dialogue was pretty bad at times. I'll probably check this one out
jack reacher still feels to me like 'tom cruise needs something to do and feel relevant'
he should do more shit like edge of tomorrow, stuff that's actually interesting and doesn't exist just to remind everyone 'hey i still do movies i can still do action'
honestly I've tried watching Jack Reacher a couple of times but never managed to get through it. It was way too long and uninteresting to me. It felt like watching a less awesome mission impossible movie.

Well, at least it looks faithful to the art direction of the books.

I find it ironic that the guy who wrote that series dislikes gay people and yet wrote a series about a guy running around in his underwear.
and what has running around in underwear got to do with being gay lol
Uh, no? Where did you hear that? Dav Pilkey had the last book reveal that [SP]Harold got married to a man in the future[/SP]; why would he do that if he hated gays?
I swear to god i heard that someone. Guess i fucked up.

Anti-gay people label everything outside of six in marriage perverted, so imagine a man in his underpants running around probably would fall into that. Too bad i had a lapse in judgement with my previous statement.
That's entirely wrong.

I was on a roll of being stupid. I'll take a break.
For all the hype that you guys gave "The Neon Demon," it sure did suck on RT. It got a 48%
who cares what other people think of it?
Valid point.
avengers 2 is 75% on rottenhacks
Because that's about how good it is.
It was the same movie as avengers 1, just with phase 3 setups.

Why am I excited for this? Why am I being suddenly flooded with Nostalgia?

You think that's bad? I still have some of the books, and am almost considering rereading them again.
Avengers was bad
I'm wondering how Flip-O-Rama will translate into the movie
