It certainly looks interesting, but I'm curious how far from the truth this film will be. I have serious doubts that they would show the accurate recreation of both Turing's life and cracking the Enigma.

The Imitation Game looks really good and I hope it gets a US release. Predestination looks a hell of a lot like Looper mixed in with some Minority Report. Hopefully it's as good as either of those movies.

it isnt impossible for a video game adaptation to be decent. Silent Hill was decent.
Holy shit, if the book "female main character" was exactly like the one presented here, I can understand the appeal. Target wouldn't want to identify with strong characters, but with weak, lost and shy introvert has certain appeal for woman (also the parallels to Twilight are so uncanny, it's so obvious it started as fanfiction).
But the trailer is good. If I wouldn't know any better, I could have a slight desire to watch it.

I wouldn't be surprised with this bombing at box-office at all. It would be a proof to Hollywood that recognizable name and following fan-base is not always a recipe for success. This movie went through so many alterations and changes that in any other case there wouldn't be any doubts.
