I'm wondering how Flip-O-Rama will translate into the movie
I imagine he'll just punch the villain repeatedly for an extended time, but it would have to have like, almost a stop-motion look to it to simulate the page going back and forth.
hes not wrong, everytime i get to that big "epic battle" of a third act i almost always doze off
avengers 2 was anything but boring, it was just terrible
They were both mediocre. Aside from kind of setting up Loki as a credible threat, it's all standard whedonitis.
Mkay there rusty, we get it you don't like fun.
oh no you're one of those.
everything you've ever said is now worthless, fuck outta here.
thats a lot of hostility just cuz someone doesnt like the avengers
not at the cinema dude. although, i really want to. if i'm at home, sure.
For me, Avengers 1 was the kind of movie that had to be watched in cinema with an audience. I don't know why. It's not same to watch it home on a monitor.
Captain America Civil War was a better Avengers movie than both Avengers 1 and Avengers 2 though.
I enjoy most of Marvel movies because I'm a fan of their superheroes. If I wasn't I probably wouldn't ignore their safe samey superhero movie formula
They don't take risks anymore. Especially when it comes to killing off people
and if they do, they will most likely come back to life in a movie [sp]or in a shitty tv show like agents of shield[/sp]
at least itl have more of an impact when it inevitably does happen

Saying the same about DC would guarantee you a bunch of boxes

Also Conroy and Hamill will be doubling up roles, Conroy will be doing Plastic Man and Batman, and Hamill will be doing Swamp Thing and Joker.

I can't get over how bad that artstyle is. Superman's face looks like a smear frame.
The second trailer for Morgan, the debut film from Ridley Scott's son, just dropped. I ain't gonna watch it tho since I'd rather go in knowing as little as possible, but hey here it is anyways for those that want to see it

I think one of the things that prevents Marvel movies for being awful is that they don't take themselves too seriously. I feel like the more seriously a movie takes itself, the easier it is for it to suck. The Nolan trilogy is an exemple of serious superhero movies that worked. Sometimes I feel like BvS tried to mix Nolan with what Marvel are doing with their films and excelled in none.
the nolan movies worked since they threw most of the comic stuff out, and what you got was a bare-bones adaptation. a guy dressed as a bat just can't ever have a real serious tone to it, especially with outside underwear.
also, while i'm all for a new justice league show, that new one looks way too cartoonish imo.
I think it could swing both ways, but I understand people's gripe with the art looking off.

While things like Green Arrow, Batman, Super and Wonder Woman all look weird Granny Goodness, Kalibak (I think that's him, top left) and Darkseid look like they were taken straight from Kirby's initial New Gods run, even giving Darkseid pupils for the first time since Kirby left. Before I toss it away for looking bad I want to see it animated first.

Since the contracts for various actors end with Infinity War Part 2, people theorize that those heroes get killed by Thanos.
After BatB and Spectacular Spider-Man I can never justify not watching a show just because of its art-style.
Also at least it isn't CalArt again.

This was posted a couple months ago but not in the thread I believe.
This is a promotional shot for Skull Island, kinda detailing the era
All of them except four guys will be killed by Skull Island's inhabitants. Calling it.

I'll love a korean war or vietnam war BOB
I'll love a korean war or vietnam war BOB
Korea would be great. There was an RoK-produced show that's sorta like Band of Brothers for Korea, but the production quality+acting is downright miserable.
However, with the right talent and budget, it'd be awesome to see the Korean war from the people there as opposed to just the UN. About the stories where brothers pick sides, how families are torn apart, and how the political ideologies of different countries have cut a once united nation in two.

I've only read the first three books, does this look like (book 2 spoilers) [sp]the Jake murder scene[/sp] to anyone? Might be too early to speculate, considering the direction they're planning to take, but the location and the outfit seem to fit.

Wasn't Gunslinger happening in a Far West setting?
Wasn't Gunslinger happening in a Far West setting?
Sort of, kinda, maybe. But the movie is adapting more than Gunslinger (and it's why it's almost definitely going to be shit)
