Wasn't Gunslinger happening in a Far West setting?
As I've read somewhere, the movie is supposed to start in the middle of the series, invloving characters from the later books. Besides, they leave the Far West setting at the end of Gunslinger anyway.
Wasn't Gunslinger happening in a Far West setting?
[sp]The Dark Tower series delves into several parallel realities and the characters frequently go to New York City of our world. When Roland meets Jake Chambers, the latter recalls being pushed in front of a car and killed by Jack Mort.[/sp] I don't recall Randall Flagg ever being in New York throughout the series, but they're already deviating from the source enough, so it doesn't surprise me.
Matthew McConaughey as Man in Black on the set of The Dark Tower
He looks rather Walkenesque there.
what the everliving fuck

please tell me this is a joke
https://www.theguardian.com/film/2016/jun/28/tetris-films-trilogy?CMP=fb_gu
“The story we conceived is so big,” said Kasanoff. “This isn’t us splitting the last one of our eight movies in two to wring blood out of the stone. It’s just a big story.” “We’re not going to have blocks with feet running around the movie,” he said. “But it’s great that people think so. It sets the bar rather low!”

https://www.theguardian.com/film/2016/jun/28/tetris-films-trilogy?CMP=fb_gu
They should do a promotion that if an entire row gets filled up, you get prizes. The more rows, the better the prizes.

i don't like that it ignores 3. it was a good movie. newt has been dead for 24 years, and michael biehn didn't age gracefully and can only do b movies now. just go with it. it just reeks of fan service which never ends well
Michael Biehn only ever did B movies.
i dunno how good michael biehn is an actor now but tbf you don't need to age gracefully to play a character who got like a quarter of his face scalded off
Michael Biehn only ever did B movies.
uh, terminator and aliens are b movies? [editline]9th July 2016[/editline]
i dunno how good michael biehn is an actor now but tbf you don't need to age gracefully to play a character who got like a quarter of his face scalded off
if you've actually seen how he looks now, you'll agree that colonal hicks he aint no more. especially his acting, i don't think he could do it as much as i like the guy.
Yeah, they are. They are low budget simple plot movies that transcended their audience to become mainstream pop by playing it straight. Cameron ain't exactly Stanley Kubrick is he.
if those are b movies, then actual b movies are f movies. i don't think you're right
Eh, 27X worded it funny, but yeah they are B movies. B movies with good writing and other things, but B movies nonetheless.
Alien 5 will ignore Alien 3 and Resurrection, Sigourney Weaver confirms
Alien 3 was a decent film and manages to end the series in a decent way. I'm annoyed that people still shit all over that film. It doesn't shit over a franchise like other films have, like the majority of the Highlander films.
if those are b movies, then actual b movies are f movies. i don't think you're right
You can drive fucking trucks through each plot, especially Aliens. Aliens is the reason the universe has been retarded for a loooooong time by trading mystique and menace for jump and bOOOooooOOOo I am the surprise Aliems booooOOOO bitch. They have two a grade actors each, but actors who can only play certain kinds of characters and then an asston of support character actors who were good at in-character improv. They are both patently formulaic, to a fault, they just have extremely authentic presentation for the budgets they had.
nice trailers, cant wait to see evryting
uh, terminator and aliens are b movies? [editline]9th July 2016[/editline]
The original Terminator is most defiantly a B-Movie. If you think otherwise you are just plain wrong.
What defines "B Movie" in that regard then.
What defines "B Movie" in that regard then.
B-Movies are just low budget movies that get distribution.
Alien 3 was a decent film and manages to end the series in a decent way. I'm annoyed that people still shit all over that film. It doesn't shit over a franchise like other films have, like the majority of the Highlander films.
There's only one highlander film, just like there's only one robocop film. Also, most scifi is B grade. Budget size doesn't matter, star wars is a big budget B movie.
Gonna rant here. Movie adaptation for Death Note anime is in the works. And there's a character named L [img_thumb]https://i.ytimg.com/vi/nCfqZ2trMOc/maxresdefault.jpg[/img_thumb] Well, who's gonna play L? Him. Would have been better if they went with Samuel
