She's not terrible, but she's not really that great either. Predator always works best when you have strong characterization to counterpoint the Pred(s). Not really sure she's a good fit for that.
Ultimately it's Rami Malek who's going to play Freddie Mercury in Queen biopic
Still fuck everything about this film, but unlike Ben Whishaw Malek at least bares some resemblance to Freddie.
Another Ghost in the Shell Teaser

DC Young Justice is getting a 3rd season. Greg Weis man will return

I'm really excited to see its return. I wonder what network will take up the reins and what that would mean for its subject matter.

American Werewolf in London is being remade... and it's being written and directed by the son of the guy that wrote and directed the original lol. that's gotta be a first. I mean yeah it's Max Landis and it's most likely gonna suck but still that's a twist.
last time i checked, that was on the list of films that didn't need to be remade.
also, they won't ever top the special effects from it, so why even bother?
I'll give it the benefit of the doubt until I see a trailer, but man that's weird
why would you remake your own dads film? if i was a filmmakers son i'd do anything in my power to block any and all remakes
Daddy issues? Revenge for the Stupids? Who can say

Paul Reiser will be in season 2 of Stranger Things
I can't wait to see him play another slimeball, he did it so well in Aliens

I just watched it again the other day and man the special effects are great
minor spoilers (it's not the scene you're thinking of)

So they're remaking A Star is Born. For the third time. But now with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.
Cooper is also directing. Clint Eastwood initially wanted to do it before American Sniper but wised up and let someone else do it.

I've seen the original, it's in the public domain and on Wikipedia for crying out loud, but I can't really imagine the story translating well in the modern era.
Bradley Cooper needs to get to work on that Hyperion adaption.

reviews are starting to come in now for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them fyi
maybe there should be a thread for this seeing as there's gonna be five of these movies (I ain't making it)
Im currently making one. It will take me a while. Edit: Photoshop is not working :<
may as well make it harry potter general
Since HP is pretty much over by now (excluding the new script book) I called it Fantastic Beasts for people to easily find and Wizarding World to have it as a general thread for HP content too.

http://www.comingsoon.net/movies/news/785825-fede-alvarez-dont-breathe-sequel#/slide/1
it was confirmed awhile ago that Fede Alverez is helming the sequel/reboot of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (which will instead follow the newer books written by the other guy) but he's also now confirmed he's working on a Don't Breath sequel that would again feature Stephen Lang.
Shame Fincher's not doing another one, but Fede's style could really work with a straight thriller

That's a pretty lame title considering it also describes the whole DCU at this point.
[editline]16th November 2016[/editline]
It would have been better off as Justice League Weird
[editline]16th November 2016[/editline]
Justice League Strange
[editline]16th November 2016[/editline]
Justice League Alan Moore Style

I'm surprised this poster is official, it looks thrown together in a poor way.
it looks a hell of a lot better than most modern posters

have people gotten so used to terrible photoshops that they hate actual art now
It's not bad, there is just something off about it.
it's probably the resolution, i took it straight from reddit. this one is better

It is a terrible photoshop though. The upper half is very subdued like a painting, meanwhile on the lower half you got realistic water, the two don't really mix. But whats really off about it is that neither Kong nor the rocks cast any shadow, which makes it look like two separate images simply put together.
Try looking at it this way:

I like both halves, just not together.
if the water was illustrated it would be a wonderful poster

as it stands though it's still good
