I know but it's been a lot worse lately.
Maybe the state of raw is reflected in the quality of posts.
The Rock's return was so surprising, I hope that wasn't the only time we see him for a while.
Rocky just happened to be in Brooklyn at the time so this wasn't planned or anything. I'd be surprised to see him again.
I still think /wooo/ is possibly the worst place on the Internet to discuss wrestling. It was fine back in '08 or '09 when I started going, certainly worth being a regular visitor, but around late 2011 the quality dropped, hard. Whenever /sp/ started showing up in force. Now everything is just SJWs vs /pol/ along with BASED memes, and if you don't like it you HATE FUN. That combined with the tube's existence and how cliquey everything got made it a pretty lousy place that continues to get worse.
The tube itself was a novel idea but making the chat unable to be hidden combined with how unfunny yet insistent upon themselves the streamers are make it not so great either. I normally love living in California but when it comes to watching Raw live it's not the best place to be. I can either watch a crappy firstrow stream without any annoying streamers or chat, a nice quality stream in the Tube with a lousy chat and streamers who are very bad hosts, or I can just wait to catch it after its over and everyone is already discussing what happened. PPVs are no problem since I have the Network, and it's not like Smackdown is can't-miss TV, it's just catching Raw. It's not the end of the world, just an irritant, but still.
It could be worse. r/SquaredCircle could've jumped to the tubes.
I really feel like I should have made this thread in general discussion. If only I knew it'd get this far. Now that I think about it doesn't really fit in TV. What was I thinking? Mods can move threads right?
