Sucks Sheamus is out, looks like his return date is around rumble time though so there's that to look forward to.
The G1 climax (New Japans annual tournament) is being touted as the greatest thing ever, I only watched a hand full of matches and boy does it hold up. Former WWE guys Harry Smith (Going under the name Davey Boy Smith Jr.), Lance Archer and Shelton Benjamin are all tearing it up.

The main ones are Raw that airs live on Mondays at 8/7 CT and there's Smackdown that airs on Friday at 8/7 CT. There's also many stream websites if you need it.

Darren Young just came out as gay, this is really good for him. I hope they can hold off from making it the entire character or if they work it in make it not offensive.
New Japan posted a english video to help get people in, I think the fact they got about 1000 people from overseas to buy the G1 on ustream ($150 for 9 shows) makes them want to push into America and Britain more, I would expect a english highlights program on YouTube soon.

Good PPV all around, but I fucked hated that ending

Punk v Lesnar was another classic. CM Punk seriously to me is the best in the business, all of his main event fights make me feel like I'm back in the attitude era. He would have fitted in perfectly.

I wouldn't call it butthurt. DB is okay, not my favourite guy and definitely shouldn't be in a championship spot in my opinion, but Orton is so, so boring. The only good thing that can hopefully come of this is the return of Evolution or something. That's the only positive I can see from him being the top guy.
I'm a little heartbroken but I know in the long run Bryan vs Orton will be good.
As upset as I am with DB losing, you have to admit this is a great way to promote Orton as a heel. What better way to push a heel as a real heel? Attack the most over guy in the company.

Remember that B+ line aimed at Bryan? Apparently Meltzer said the same thing about Triple H back in 1998 in the Observer so maybe Trips has a lot of confidence in Bryan overcoming his critics in the company.
Oh and fuck CM Punk, if he can't handle one person booing without flipping out (Fatso being the best he could come up with) he needs to stop ripping into others on twitter, especially challenging someone who he knows will not be allowed in the ring.

Has anyone else watched the Clash of the Champions Blu-Ray? It's great, you get some excellent Flair V Sting matches, Hollywood Blondes Steve Austin, Japanese Juniors like Ultimo Dragon and a great Jericho V Eddie match. I think it might be the best blu-ray they have done, I do have half the wargames and the streak ones to watch though.
